He wrapped his wing and picked up the bits and the bags. Then walked out of the forest. Then he said mostly to himself, 

"Now where's this Professor Twilight."

It was approximately morning, and the sun was rising, when the beacon shined. "You need to head to Canterlot to find the Professor" came the same gravelly voice, except telepathically this time. "When you get there, go to the School of Gifted Individuals. Ask for a Professor Dusk, and tell them that she got the shipment. They'll let you pass."

Shadow looked around and saw no one, he said as he opened the wings,

"Okay that's weird, but I've seen weirder things."

He ran, then jumped into the air. the momentum gave him a lot of speed. In about an hour, he was at Canterlot. He looked at all the buildings and the one he needed and walked up to the front desk and said, 

"I need to See Professor Dusk, I have her shipment."

"Ah," said the pony at the desk, "More supplies for the Applied Sciences Lab, man, the things Dusk does with that stuff is top notch, no less. Go on, just sign this form."

 

"Sign J. Mint. Third Room on the left, wait till class is over, then lock the door. And deliver the bags." Again the gravelly voice resounded.

Shadow nodded and sign, J. Mint. As he went to the room, he said to himself,

"When these jobs are over, I really need to get my head checked."

He waited for the class to end, and went up to the desk, as his shadow closed the door and locked it. He said as he placed the bags down, 

"I presume you're  Professor Dusk, here are your bags."

"Um, my shipment isn't due for another week, and I don't recall..." The lavender unicorn just stared at the bag, and gasped. Then the bag shifted into a black goo and wrapped around the professor. Then Moonflame appeared, alicorn-like, except instead of wings he had a horn. "Your services are thanked Shadow, the job is done, remain in Canterlot until further notice, May the Lightbearer Watch On Us."

"What are you going to do with Dusk, why were you the bag, why did I have to lock the door. I have questions that need to be answered."

He opened a portal and pulled out a chair and said as he sat down,

"I'll stay here, it's better than being on an almost empty street."

Emerald followed in silence, she knew what was coming and did not want to anger her anymore, you should piss her off more make her angry. Are you mad? Two excruciating hours later.

 

"Emerald, you should listen more, you might end up getting hurt." The Nightmare said in a mocking tone before leaving, and then dismissed Emerald to her private quarters. The sun started to rise, and birds sang for once. Burn scorches, cuts, whiplashes, a black eye, heavy bruising, and a ratty mane adorned Emerald.

 

(OOC: Emerald, You're a Pegasus by day, your wings however are black-edged.)

(ok sure although i'm not sure why that is the case but hey why not) 

 

Nightmare's beating was short this time, thankfully, she stood in her small room there was nothing in it a small set of draws, to hold variously items of hers, there was a small bed, bed was a kind word somthing to sleep on more like it. Finally a mankin to hold her armour. This is how you live? I...fell sorry for you Emerald nopony deserves this. ​Your sympathy is pointless bugger off voice. She looked in the mirror in her room she saw her vampiric self a mirror of what she was a broken heartless monster, ruled by evil, blood covered the exposed parts of her body, the beating was short but Nightmare was getting very good at inflicting pain.

 

She started to remove her armour more blood was on her as she did the pieces covered a lot of it up, My word you poor thing, will...you...just leave me alone. Then sun rose and her features changed back to what she was born as she look a lot nicer and more friendly than before, finishing up putting away her armour, she noticed that the lead feathers (ones at the front) where pitch black What is this? That is my doing, a side effect of me being inside you. I need to sleep, I know you do that my poor lass. With that Emerald climbed into her 'bed' and fell asleep, she was so tired...

As Emerald's head hit the pillow, the world flip flopped. Everything had motes of light coming off it, and was difficult to see. Emerald glowed blue.

 

An old ghost sat in the corner of the room. "So the Hellbringer created a new wraith, and a fine one at that. I'm Silver Blade." Silver Blade wore a tattered cloak, and he had a blade on his back. He extended his hoof. "Sleep doesn't exist here. You're a wraith. No sleep for you. You need to kill, or at least drain another living pony. I'll teach ya. Let's go.

Nerlate woke up feeling dizzy and as if his soul had been ruptured out ''Hmm... This feeling, strange indeed.'' he then jumped off the tower and used the last second of flight to land, he knew he was near the castle and felt he wasn't welcomed so he quickly used a lightning wind element crystal to travel tens of times faster than sonic speed away to a part in the city. Due to the consuming nature of the crystal it only lasted a few seconds and he felt it take a small toll on him.

Silver Blade looked out, "I believe Nerlate is in Nightmare city, he's an interesting fellow. So Emerald, we've got to get to him, and escape. So, c'mon." Silver Blade floated down.

 

Pedestrians walked about, and there were some guards not that far away. Then a beacon lit up the sky in Canterlot. "Emerald! The Hellbringer has set a beacon! We should head there. I'll explain on the way!" Silver Blade yelled.

Hold on here? No no you don't Emerald. Yes, yes I do, NO STOP IT NOW, but she will reward me, no no she won't but... No Emerald, follow him Emerald reluctantly got out of bed, then proceeded to crash land onto the ground outside, her wings were, well she was in no condition to fly Nightmare had seen to that earlier, one of her pleasures was to deny her flight as she knew Emerald enjoyed flying underneath all the pain and nothingness. 

 

"what is this beacon why do you care, why do I care?" No Emerald, yes Starswirl I will turn him in when the time comes, I'll tell him, how? I have more power than I let on. Rubbish.
