Everybody I have bad news: We all know now that Brian Lenard has already left Hasbro to work for Disney?!? Ugh why Disney?!? This is why we hate losing members of the show in the first place! I mean, I do like Disney, but I am NOT going to work for Disney for the rest of my life! I rather stay at Hasbro & DHX than Disney instead! But the question is: How are they going to find a replacement for Brian Lenard now? I mean, maybe they will find a replacement, because it will probably take a few weeks to interview candidates and things like that or to make things easier they'll promote someone who knows his work well in-house.

But the point is: We don't even know who will take his replacement will be so everyone calm down and R-E-L-A-X.

I really don't think there's going to be an S7. I think 6 is it. McCarthy is gone, Vogel, Lenard, Thiessen, Sibsy. Way too many people are jumping ship for us to not seriously consider 6 to be the end for the show.

The Running Of The Leaves

post-2150-0-96679700-1452146368.jpg

Another staff departure may be a sign of the Pony End Times, but the ability to survive major personnel changes is one of the tests of a strong franchise. Some very important people have already left, and more are sure to leave, but they have also left behind some very talented people to replace them.

I understand and share concerns about the show's future. After all, Magical Mystery Cure was written as and intended to be the last episode of the series way back in Season Three, so worries about the possibility of Pony being a 65-Episode Cartoon were not only well-founded, but in that sense we're already on borrowed time.

Thankfully, Hasbro ultimately decided to continue the show, and it seems to figure prominently in their plans to grow their brands as media properties and support them with improved content production infrastructure.

That, in turn, may itself lead to some major shakeups in terms of the how and where production takes place, who produces it, what is actually produced, the look and feel of the show, or even whether they stick with Friendship is Magic, focus instead on Equestria Girls or even go in some entirely new direction.

I think FiM is much too fat a golden goose to slaughter, but I also don't know what the "suits" at Hasbro know. They have the numbers, do have a business to run, and they've already decided to pull the plug at least once, so there are no guarantees.

Thus what we're left with are cause for concern, few facts, a lot of uncertainty and little more than speculation to fill the gaps.

In other words, situation normal. ^_^

Oh, you gotta be kidding me. -.-

Brian Lenard was the one at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, who was interested to see Celestia in a slice of life episode. From all people it's him to leave who maybe is the only proponent of best princess within the staff.

As Troubleshoes would say: Figures! -.-

Well he is only human, better prospects and all that.

Besides it gives a chance for new people to have a go at the wheel. And ofc they can't animate MLP forever. Even they'd need a break least they see ponies in their sleep... assuming they're not already XD.
