gaming Anyone have any killer tips for Minecraft PvP?

Ok, so I know to strafe, jitterclick, aim, and maybe a bit more, but I still get combo'd like an inanimate object. I know to go to the side and start hitting them but then they turn around and combo me and no matter how much I soup I cannot kill them. To know how bad I am at PvP, I have 34 wins and almost 3,000 losses in Mineplex Survival Games. In ReeveMC SoupPvP, I have 30 kills and about 200 deaths. What are those people doing that get easy kills on me?

My average ping is less than 100 for all of my servers.

100 ping is rather dismal in terms of what it should be.

 

One thing that would help is timing your swings so that you strike as you are falling from a b-hop. Guaranteed critical strikes.
