gaming Nintendo looking into VR.

Funny how things can change in a year. Nintendo says that they're "looking into" VR, when last year, they weren't interested in it.

"Looking into it" means exactly that. Nothing more. They're gonna pay attention to see if it actually takes off now along with the majority of the industry.

 

And from what I remember, they said in the past that they weren't interested in VR because it was an untested market. The closest thing to VR before that was the Virtual Boy, and we all sure as hell know exactly how well that went

Nintendo seems to be (in my opinion) a follower nowadays so this doesn't surprise me much. The fact that they are even considering it is pretty much saying that they will do it eventually. Unless VR completely crashes, but with how much Let's Players hype it to oblivion, it most likely won't fail.
