Paramount Pictures has announced SpongeBob SquarePants 3 for 2019. It will be 2D animated instead of 3D CGI like the previous film, Sponge Out Of Water

Vincent Waller the creative director said it will be released in 2019. The writers of the film will be Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger. Will fin will be storyboarding the movie. It will release on February 8th 2019

Still haven't seen the 2nd movie, but honestly, I stick with the first 3-4 seasons. For me, those were the glory days of Spongebob and I feel like the show has lost something special.

No, I like Spongebob, but I think it's safe to say the show has ran its course a while ago

As do I. Seasons 1-3 were the greatest, but then Season 4 and beyond is where this show is overstaying its welcome, particularly certain episodes where it expresses negativity towards different viewers, young and old.

The second movie wasn't "terrible" but it was no where near as good as the first one, however the sequel was successful, so I saw this coming.
