It depends. In groups, definitely. That's why I can't make new friends and I never get invited out a second time.

With my close friend I've known since we were kids, however, things get crazy every time. No hanging back when I'm at his house. I remember one night we got a box of 12 Doritos nacho cheese tacos from Taco Bell, and I ate seven of them just because I could.

There have been several times when this has happened for me, but it's usually because I get depressed. The worst I ever did was one time when a friend asked me and a couple others out to lunch. A while after I accepted, I got incredibly depressed, but didn't want to cancel, so I went. I was so depressed though, that I purposely tried to speak as little as possible. It was a terrible experience. It was the worst bout of depression I've ever had, but I survived... luckily...
