Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls, and the impending fandom

What if Hasbro greenlit Lauren Faust's original idea for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls, that would ultimately turn it into an international, multi-media, pop culture phenomena?

Yeesh. That art style is...something. Not a good something but it is something. I can see the Faust vibe to it but something else about it seems off. Probably the fact that the girls have twigs for legs. :| Other than that, I am not sure. It does look like there was a potential for a lot of personality and I will give it that and I know Faust can do that well. I just don't think it would have taken off as well though.

Also, it seems Faust is a bit obsessed with making the majority of the characters female. Nothing wrong with that but it is something I have noticed. Interesting to see this show though, I don't know if I had heard of it before.

Well if all the cast and crew including writers, story board artists, voice actors/actress ect. were exactly the same, then maybe it could have had the same size fandom that FIM has today.

But then again seeing as it wasn't an MLP show, I don't know if the whole ironic 4Chan thing would have happened that lead to the actually fanbase being created.

I don't think I like this style either, feels a lot like a very weird mix between Powerpuff Girls' and DC Super Hero Girls' art styles in my opinion. But I really never heard about that show before, is there anything more to it than just the promo arts? Like a, a leaked animation or something?

I am the creator of the Boebow Productions. I don't have a studio. I only created 2 projects, Jumpin' Jingles and Bert & Squirt (which the series is unsuccessful). Boebow is too small to be successful and popular. I've been looking for artist and animators for Boebow Productions but no one was interested. I wanted Boebow to be big and successful and Disney and Warner Bros. I wanted to pick up Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls because Hasbro rejected the series in a favor of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Lauren Faust is probably still looking for a place to pitch the series. I also love the dolls she made. I wanted to pick up the series but I couldn't find Lauren Faust anywhere, or her contact. Unless you want to help.
