movies/tv Gravity Falls is over

I love Gravity Falls, and the finale hit every note with me, humour, drama, suspense, and fantasy, this was such a great show, it made me want to watch Disney again. I love Stan and Ford, they manage to bond after a past of turmoil, because of the great chemistry of Dipper and Mabel, who are one the best brother and sister twins ever animated, now that Bill Cipher is defeated, the twins are going home, and Soos now runs the Mystery Shack, it was the perfect way to end such a stellar TV show. I am still sad that Gravity Falls ended, it has taken me a while to get over my melancholy, so now I can reflect and enjoy what Gravity Falls has given us, it is still good that it ended, the show has come full circle, like Phineas and Ferb, they ended on a great note. I hope that when MLP ends, it will do so like Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls, with a daring exit, dashing through our souls, with wits and dignity, something to remember how special the show was, although Gravity Falls is over, so long as we remember it, the show thrives.

I loved the finale, they really seemed to pull all the stops on this one.

It's sad that the show had to end, I feel like there's still so much to explore in the GF-verse. But still, I'm satisfied with watching all the adventures the Pines twins had, and I guess that's good enough for me. :)

Even though the show is done, I think I'll be sticking around to see if anyone on deviantart is still making GF-related stuff.

I loved Gravity Falls, and still do. The growth of all the characters really left a mark on me, and I love how much they grew dependent on each other but at the same time individually.

I'm going to be probably one of the few people who think this, but I genuinely liked the ending they gave Stan. I appreciate that maybe having him not be the same/not remember would be quite bitter and, in some cases, better, but I feel like I would've left that series with an entirely different view of the ending had he not got his memories back and been able to fulfill his dream of travelling with his brother.

Ford only really seems to grow to his brother in the last episode - if he had to live forever with the fact that he broke his brother, I don't think he'd fare very well.

Also Monster 6-armed Bill was great.

I didn't get into Gravity Falls until it was almost over, unfortunately.

I'm both glad and saddened that the series ended.  I love that it ended before it got to be too much of the same thing over and over, but it was such an amazing series that I wish it would go on longer.

I am intrigued by the creator's statement that "Weirdmaggedon" would be "the end of Gravity Falls as we know it".  It makes me wonder if they won't continue the series somehow.  Maybe time will pass, and Dipper will join his Gruncle Ford in exploring the paranormal when he's older.  There's also the card that Wendy gave him, saying "See you next summer."  I'm hoping this means the story truly isn't over.

Yeah, the whole "See you next summer" thing and the statue of Bill at the end seemed to really hint at the possibility of continuing the story of the Pines family, but given how Hirsch was sorta happy to have it end like this, it seems pretty unlikely that a sequel series is gonna happen anytime soon.

At the same time, IIRC he once said that he's not completely throwing out the possibility of continuing the story of the Gravity Falls-verse. So many there's a sliver of hope for us fans? :)
