searching [OOC] Friendship / SoL RP

Hey guys! Finally decided to start making some RPs again. As the title states, this is just going to be a random, miscellaneous SoL roleplay! It can have elements of romance if you wish, but it's totally okay just to be in this for friends. 

 

General, vague plot: All the ponies have a rather serendipitous meeting in the middle of town, and decide to just chill together. By that, I mean that there is a large squad and everyone takes part interacting with the other ponies - I don't want anybody choosing a love interest, zeroing in, and leaving everyone else to roleplay around them. Once the RP runs its natural course, you can feel free to set up another 1x1 or something with the pony you want to date, but I'm more looking for some fun, friendly interactions here.

 

Rules:

• Rule 1: Be reasonable and respectful 
• Rule 2: Well developed characters are good. Please include a link to your character!
• Rule 3: Stay relatively active: A post once a day or so is good. That being said, don't flood the RP (NO REALLY DON'T DO IT OR I MAY HAVE TO KICK YOU) with your posts and let the other people have a chance to respond, especially considering this will mainly be group interactions.
• Rule 3.5: If it gets out of hand with RP flooding, I will instill a posting order.

Beyond that, there isn't much!

Was gonna suggest if you two are the more active we can always make a closed one seperate, means keeping the numbers down.

Kirby:  Was actually waiting to see if someone was gonna take advantage of the location that was starting to get dropped and see if anyone shown up, but apparently not

HM: Think you could handle two players?  If so, we can step it aside.  If not, I don't mind opening a private thread.

@@Loud Opinion, Just curious, what gives Gold Dust that impression that Bashful is sinister?  I'd like to elaborate on why Dust acts the way he does, and trying to understand his thought process in how he came to that conclusion?

I don't think it would be too much of a bother so long as it doesn't turn into effective action.  Right now, this is just a conversation   But yeah, if MiniKirby thinks it's too much, I'll gladly be wrong.

All of your character's speech is in italic, so is that a bug, is it all in his head, or do you just do that to help highlight your dialog?

I change the speech font up to indicate what he is saying, but because of what Bashful is, I need to make it clear to a casual observer what they are talking to.  In that font he's presenting as Bashful Thread.  It's a habit from another RP, because sometimes he needs to shift and I want it to be clear in what form he is speaking in.  Bashful in italics gives something that seems higher pitched, the colour of his coat being the colour of his text.  It's different if he was presenting as Scissor Biter, or maybe if he was mimicing another player, it lets me borrow more than just their writing style. 

 

It also has the benefit for those who are just skim-reading to not miss dialog.

Consider it this way, if by some mistake Bashful needs to shift (Shouldnt happen in this RP) several times in a single scene, wouldnt ya like to know what you are talking to at any given time?
