I think family memberers should appear more, it is nice way not only to add realism but explore the pasta and the characters of people by seeing how they interact with family. I do not think epidoses dedicated to them is always nessecary (even meeting Pinkie's family properly was great), but appearsces Nice that the parents apparared (but did the father talk? Spitfire and Diamond Tiara's moms appearences last season was great. I would like some episode (maybe some celebration?) set in Cloudsdale so we could see Rsinbow abd Fluttershy's families or just get a mention of them. But Scootaloo's family sitsuation would be most important to discover I think. Just have at least one family member mentioned (like a uncle) and se can decide ourselves if she lives with that person or not. I agree that its not always needed, but do you not think that now we know what they both look and sound like, that we should have an episode with them? Would make sense, I think. It's all well and good for them to make appearances in episodes, but it doesn't explain why she barely talks about them. Seems very peculiar to me. Kinda confuses me too, wonder what's with that.. Well, yes, it's the first time that BOTH parents have the same voice as their children, but FiM isn't precisely stranger on the trend of a parents having the same VA as at least one of their children. I hope that's true. I would love that. I was thrilled to see Twi's parents. I was really glad they didn't gloss over the fact that they should be there to meet their granddaughter. This show seems to have a tendency to forget family like that. For instance, were Shining Armor's parents even at his wedding? Don't think so. I'll have to rewatch and check. They certainly weren't involved in any of the planning or prep or anything like that. Kind of odd, don't you think? I hope we get origin development. I want to know more about all their families. It really helps with the realism. We've met Rarity's parents. We've met Twi's. We've had a good amount of screentime for the Pie family, given that S5 Hearth Warming episode. We know AJ's parents are dead. That was made canon. Unless of course they decided to pull a Simpsons gag: "Oh, Applebloom, if mom and dad were here, they'd be so proud of you....but they left for work a few minutes ago!" What we really need is the story of Fluttershy and Rainbow. Do they even have parents? Twilight Velvet just has a deeper Twilight Sparkle voice, but that works. I found it funny though. What I would love to see though, is more family because of this. We need to see a bit more of the family of the mane 6. Pinkie is fine in that regard, Rarity is okay (her parents don't interest me much honestly), but the others? We need more info! Last thing it's been mentioned about him, it's he wouldn't appear in the remainder of S5 (which many of us expected), so I guess he'll show up this season .
