Well, that's actually directly referencing an episode from S6. So if you haven't seen it yet, I don't want to give it away. (unless you don't mind spoilers)

 

On another note, I haven't posted here in forever, so it's about time I think. Today I'll be showing you some process, so if you were interested in knowing how I do my work, now's your lucky day.

 

So I begin in pencil, then once happy with the sketch, I ink it with a ballpoint pen like so.

Once I complete this, I go in with dry watercolour pastel and blend the colours directly on the page without water at first. Once I get it to this point, it's ready for a wet brush to blend things into a much smoother shaded piece.

 

This one isn't complete just yet, but once I get the brush in there, and work the pastel over, it'll look just as polished as my other pieces. Once I do that, the final touch is using a light bit of white gouache around the edges for a bit of highlight. That last bit really makes the art pop out, and the manes shine all pretty-like.
