request Cutie Mark Help and OC Art Request

So I have numerous wonderful OC ponies and only a few of them have cutie marks, additionally I'm more of an artisan crafts person than a digital art or drawing of any kind person I was hoping someone more skilled could help me with designing cutie marks for my babies! Honestly any advice on how to work with them is greatly appreciated lol. So rather dump all my stuff here I'll start with just two to see if I get any bites XD

 

Here we goooooo:

 

Firstly we have my wonderful adopted pony Star Searcher! She needs a cutie mark and I am simply stuck :/

She's sweet and adventurous and has a pet gecko named Sean-Claude! (Fancy French sounding name for her sticky fingered friend) I adopted her from Teddy-Bear on dA and I'm in the process of plushing her, but with no cutie mark to speak of I don't feel like it's doing her justice yet!

 

Secondly is my Pony adaptation of one of my favorite cards/characters from the game Spirit Stones. Her name is Tristin and I've named my OC based on her Tristin the Fallen. She is strong and fiercely independent. Although she is no longer able to fly (she only has one wing) she still dreams of soaring through the night sky. Her cutie mark is her bow and an arrow which I fail miserably at drawing so I'll include the original art and my work so far with the pony creator app (which is my flipping savior when it comes to designing references with my color palates!!!)

Then she got an upgraded form which is ok I guess but it has the reference for the arrow:

 

My work so far, even though the wing should be black lol:

 

So that's what I got please let me know if you think you can help or if you have any tips for getting not sucky at digital art XD

I'm so sorry I didn't respond right away! I missed the notification >~<

 

Yes! She's very into marine biology and scuba diving. Even though she's a pegasus and should be in the air she really prefers to be in the ocean. She loves to take pictures while scuba diving too! She likes to use her camera and an automated star scanner tripod to take pictures of outer space! She thinks that she can find aliens either under water or out in space someday.

For the first pony, maybe a camera with a star in its lenses? The second pony could just have those little symbols in the bottom left circles of the cards *shrug*

I really like the camera for Star Searcher! The archer symbol i think is a good start for Tristin as well! Thanks ^^
