The doctor walked up and tapped the glass piece with a needle, and said as he levitated some alchohol, thread, tweezers, and towel.

"You can leave, I'll handle this."

The guards left, then he turned back to Redwood and said, 

"This is going to hurt a lot."

He quickly pulled the glass peice out and pressed the towel down on that, then said, 

"That was jammed deep into your skin

Shadow excused him and walked out of the office, then he stopped and said to Kurren$y while hiding his joking in it,

"What are you talking about, mowing, snaking, but you do know that attacking a guard will get you punished, even when I warned you, I'll handle it."

The guards stopped dragging him and back up.

"Probably gonna do all day and night tryna send a pig to the slaughter house."

 

Looking Shadow in the eyes he put his hooves behind his head and stood up.

 

"Look boss, ain't no smoke no more. We done. But yo girl mudflat been blasting inmates in the dome and she ain't keep it on the low neither. one of yo boys swiped the evidence off my a** on my way to the hole. I ain't about to be holed up in no corrupt brig. Get yo b**** in line fo' she bodied. . ."

 

Kurren$y paused. Nobody seemed to understand the way speaks half the time.

 

"Home girl Redwood be riding the d*** of ponies she supposed to guard. This is a serious fault to you as a business. . . Dragon? . . . a serious threat to the safety of your prisoners, and an offense that violates the contract she signed when she started working here. Fire that b**** before s*** get outta hand."

Shadow opened a portal and said,

"Follow me, we're going somewhere where no can hear you yelling and screaming."

A shadow went over the spot that wasn't healed.

 

Nightmare sat there confused about what Shadow said. She got up and started walking around the prison, trying to sort everything that she learned.

Missklang finally made it to Nightmare. She was walking down a corridor, adjacent to Shadow's office. He waved at approached.

 

Hello, Nightmare. I see you are well, that's a good thing. What's with that expression of yours? Is something bothering you?

 

He looked at her again.

Redwood swore again as the piece of glass was pulled from here.

 

"Doc, how soon am ah gonna be back up?" she asked. "Seein' as how ah'm a guard, do y'all have any sorta special magic that y'all can work on me? Ah wanna be back on th' job as soon as ah can."

 

She was at least slightly assured that Shadow would give Kurren$y some kind of punishment.

"Sorry, lost in thought.  Just found some information, like there another level to the prison that the princesses don't know about. Oh, Shadow's head out tomorrow morning, If you need anything, you have to write it down and get it to him tonight before he leaves."

The doctor said he poured a bit of alcohol on the wound and started stitching it closed,

"Don't worry, you'll be able to work in no time, just need to stitch it closed and use magic on it to make sure the stitches don't open again."

"Alright, thanks Doc." Redwood then paused for a second and asked, "Can y'all do me a favor and call Hooligan in? Ah've got somethin' important ah gotta tell him."

 

She knew that once Hooligan saw this, he'd be out for Kurren$y's blood, and Redwood couldn't let that happen.

He looked in the window nearby.

 

With Shadow gone tomorrow, everypony will have to be extra careful about prisoner shenanigans. 

 

He looked back at Nightmare.

 

And also. It appears Redwood and Hooligan might get in relative trouble soon. Better to sort things out. We don't want bad rumours circulating about her and the prison. Just saying, maybe you could help sort things out quietly...

A guard walked into the cell and said, 
"The doctor wants for you to come to the infirmary,

Nightmare said as she continued walking,

"I'm sure they can handle it. It turns out that this prison was operational before Shadow bought it and became in charge of it Do you want to check out the level?"

As you wish. And yes indeed, checking the lost level might be quite interesting. Who knows which secrets are hidden in those long forgotten walls. Might as well stumble on something interesting. 

 

He looked at Nightmare.

 

The castles don't come cheap nowadays. I wonder how Shadow managed to buy one... Perhaps he was funded by the royal crown?

Kurren$y watched the portal open, and for a second he was speechless. It dawned on him that this prison was not a judicial system, but more of a corporeal system. Considering Shadow made it seem like he was about to be tortured, Kurren$y figured this wasn't the first violation of pony rights or the right to life. There's only two options Kurren$y saw before him: either kill or be killed, or comply.

 

"Why that mouth about? You think you hard? I doubt that. F*** the infirmary cuz, I'm stepping for permanent. Yo mama gone see you after we done and be like 'who gon my baby a casket?'. Too savage!"

 

Kurren$y then grabbed for Shadow's arm in order to sweep him off his feet.

Missklang looked at Spellvamp as his eyes glowed in a red glow.

 

Well, we don't need to worry about that. Not when I'm around. I am pretty sure that with additional help from my side, nopony can just come and absorb her magic. I won't let it happen. Besides, she is powerfull enough to protect herself too. And why would anypony want to kill you? 

 

He smiled and sniffed the air.

 

Ahhh. I love the smell of chaos in the air today. There is always things that go wrong. Isn't it marvelous? But I won't bother. Speak as much as you want.

Shadow flinched slightly, then grabbed hold of Kurren$y and tossed him into the portal and walked through with it closing behind him

He was extremely amused by the whole situation. Everything was going plain crazy, just the way he liked it. He looked at Spellvamp.

 

Why not. It could be quite interesting down there. However, even if I don't particularly like the mare that was caught on the video, I do dislike reputation sabotage... When the victim doesn't deserve it at least... But I'm not taking a party of anypony here. I'll let you do whatever you like. I'm but a mere observer. I try not to act too much.

Hey, solitarily isn't that bad. I've been there myself. A bit dark, but very nice acoustics. It's quite warm too. I believe there are pipes of hot water running underneath.

 

He let out a gasp of joy while being lifted up by Nightmare.

 

Heeey! I was saying the exact opposite! I dislike ruin reputations! And I wasn't planning to ruin anything as well! I'm wrongly accused!
