If this whole taunting thing went sourer then Hooligan couldgo back to being a prisoner and he wouldn't ba able to be with Red, "but i don't think it's a good idea to do anything that might cause to much trouble, at least not while Shadow is here."

Hooligan gave a smile, "well if you think that it's a good idea than i trust you completly," said Hooligan as he headed out of the office. Truth be told telling that little ass wipe that he had lost would be perfect. "We'll go there, tell him he ain't on top and then we can move into your quarters," Hooligan leaned in to whisper into Red's ear, "where I'll be the one on top." he said playfully

"That's a real good plan," said Redwood with the same playful tone before she began walking to the cafeteria.

 

She walked in with an air of confidence. Redwood was ready to show Kurren$y who was really the boss around here.

 

"Hey, we got a new guard, and guess who it is?" she said smugly.

Hooligan walked up beside Redwood. Just seeing Kurren$y was already making Hooligan's blood boil. But he couldn't risk losing his job by getting aggresive. So he'd have to just be content with teasing him now. "I'll give you a hint," said Hooligan in the same smug tone, "he hates your f#£%ing guts for stabbing his mare friend with a piece of glass."

Mercury blinked as she trotted up to the scene.

 

She really needed a life at this point.

 

"Hey, guys. How's it going?" she said. 

 

She slowed down as she could see the full scene. Tilting her head in exaggerated confusion, Mercury sank onto her haunches. "Would somepony care to explain what's going on?" she asked.

Kurren$y emptily looked at Mudflat and Hooligan, his eyes were glazed over. He hadn't left the floor of Spell's cell. There didn't seem to be any fire or exuberant thoughts running through is mind. His meeting with Shadow took out too much energy and the fact that he didn't kill Mudflat also contributed to his current state.

 

"New guard? Sight. Don't mean you safe."

 

Kurren$y looked at Mercury and asked

 

"Why they tripping on my d***?"

 

"Also, did you enjoy that welcoming sweet roll?"

Redwood was a bit underwhelmed by Kurren$y's response. Perhaps what they had just told him would sink in later.

 

"Ah ain't safe? Is that so?," said Redwood, still with a smug tone. "Well, if y'all lay another hoof on me, ah can guarantee that Hooligan will make y'all suffer, and now that he's a guard, he's got th' authority to do so."

He turned to Specs, "Oh hey we're just informing Kurren$y here of my new job as guard."

Even if Kurren$y wasn't deterred by their threats, there was no doubt that either of them would carry it out. They would make sure Kurten$y wouldn't have it easy.

After a rather long walking up the stairs, they were back in the prison.

 

Well, I'll go towards my cell. Instant healing takes a big amount of magical energy, and I already spent a lot to enchant the crystal for the skeleton...  I will see you later.

 

He started walking towards his cell but decided to pass by the cafeteria to grab an apple.

Still exhausted and drained of vivacity, Kurren$y gave a perfunctory reply.

 

"Breeeeehhhh, ain't got the energy deal wit ya'll. . . Go f*** yourselves, quit tripping on my d***, yada yada, something threating, f*** off. . ."

 

Kurren$y then crawled to his caddy and passed out. He could've walked back, Spell's cocoon worked more wonders than Kurren$y initially experienced; however, dramatic effect was important right now and Kurren$y was limited on resources to make his exit grandiose. As he was leaving, Kurren$y tapped Spell's hoof as if signifying 'peace brother'.

"How about we take his advice fer once?" said Redwood suggestively, making sure she kept her voice quiet.

 

Kurren$y was clearly too tired to really pay attention to whatever Redwood or Hooligan had to say, so she figured they might as well celebrate a little.

"If anyone needs anything, just write a list and drop it off at Shadow's office, then get in your cell."

 

Nightmare started checking the cells to see what going on.

 

Shadow grabbed the bag of bits, and started heading toward the front door.

Hooilgan gave a warm smile and gave Redwood a small kiss on the cheek, feeling no need to hide his affection for her, "sounds like a great plan to me," he said happily, "just let me grab some stuff from my cell and I'll meet you at your quarters

Hooligan left Red and quickly headed for his cell. When he got there he was very surprised at what he saw.

Missklang yawned and got back to his cell. He was slightly dizzy and sleepy. He fell on the bed in his cell, presumably throwing all the papers on the floor. He looked at the ceiling.

 

Heh, I wasn't impaled like that since a long time. But that dress was really nice...

Mercury blinked and tossed her head. With a snort, she trotted away. I think I'm going crazy, she thought to herself. Fresh air is what I need. Fresh air, sunlight, and someone else's bits. Hopefully enough for my bail.

Hooligan walked towards the back of his cell where he was surprised to see the word 'congrats'written. Who wrote this? He doubted Doc or Shadow would have time to do this and the only other person who knew about Red was Specs. But if it wasn't him then someone else knew.

Hooligan ran out of his room and headed towards Red's. He had to tell her about his cello and soon.

Redwood headed back to her quarters and decided to get dolled up for Hooligan. This was his first night of being free, so she wanted to make it the best she could. Unfortunately, she didn't have much in the way of makeup or nice clothes, so all Redwood could do was put on the lipstick that she had been keeping around, and take off her bandana and make her mane look a little nicer. It wasn't much, but it would do.

As Hooligan entered Red's room he said, "Red I gotta tell something it's really imp..." Hooligan stopped mid sentence as he saw Red. She was even more beautiful than before. The lipstick she wore mare her lips bolder and brought out her eyes wonderfully. And seeing that hair out of her bandana made Hooligan almost pass out. "You look amazing~"

Missklang quickly realised that it was pretty boring to stay in his cell without doing anything. He decided to get off and play around the castle a little more. He put all the paper in a nice pile via levitation magic and wandered off through the door. He was walking through the hallways, looking at the occasional paintings and statues and armour stands.

"Ah had a feelin' y'all would like it," smiled Redwood before kissing Hooligan. "Y'know, ah would only put on lipstick fer y'all."

 

She had somewhat ignored whatever news Hooligan had, as her focus was elsewhere. Redwood wanted to celebrate a little after all.

Hooligan closed his eyes as he kissed Red passionately. He moved his tongue around her mouth. He tried to remember what he needed to tell Red but he couldn't concentrate on anything else except for kissing Red. "You think its time we celebrated my promotion," Hooligan said playfully

Missklang walked into one ancient armour dating from around a century ago. It didn't look quite right.

 

Why is this like that? I might as well fix it.

 

He walked near the armour and tried to pull the helmet off. The helmet was a bit stuck so he pulled harder. Suddenly, the helmet went off and the armour fell down on the floor making a loud metallic noise resonating across the halls.

 

Oops...

 

Missklang looked at the dismantled armour. He then sat down on the floor among the debris and started, slowly, reassembling the pieces with his levitation magic.
