FlareGun45 2,221 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 Just because Rainbow is now a Wonderbolt doesn't automatically mean her arc has ended. Much like the CMCs, Rainbow can still provide a good story during her stay with the 'Bolts! Lightning Dust or Wind Rider could come back for revenge! Wonderbolts participating in an Equestrian battle! Or even Rainbow can achieve the ranks! Spitfire becomes a new Wonderbolt general, and Rainbow would take her place as captain; so Rainbow can still get promotions, and still have alot to look forward to! Maybe even Rainbow can help the other cadets she trained with in becoming Wonderbolts! I can go on if I wanted to. :3 What do you think?
SaburoDaimando 1,196 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 I can actually see that happen. In fact, they should do a focus on Spitfire in the future.
Megas 28,146 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 (edited) Honestly, after how controversial the recent episode was, I'm not sure if many people even want to see it continue anymore Edited May 11, 2016 by Megas
Kimi Vulpine 219 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 Honestly, after how controversial the recent episode was, I'm not sure if many people want to see it continue even more People being hard to please does not mean they shouldn't do more with her arc. Fans shouldn't be in control of everything that happens in the show. Knowing the staff however I can see they dropping this important development for her just because the fans hated the last episode. Sigh. My OCs: Kimi Vulpine / Bluebell ------------------- Ask Kimi Anything! ------------------- Praise the Lord Comic Sans!

Sigh. I can see them continuing it because they believe they can do better! What about the new dragon arc for Spike? People haven't liked many of his episodes, and Gauntlet of Fire was a good one! If they can do that, they can make the Wonderbolts arc more appealing to the fans.
Unlikeable Pony 2,700 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 Honestly, after how controversial the recent episode was, I'm not sure if many people even want to see it continue anymore Kind of agreed here. The wonderbolts are in a bad place; Its been rainbow's motivation for so long that its hard to NOT want her to succeed and finish it off, but EVERY FREAKING WONDERBOLT EPISODE seems to make people dislike them more :/ Granted, I think the problems with the most recent episode were more making RD act like a twat to get beat down so she could learn a moral ala Mare do well, but that's another issue XD

Consider them classics away, they're fantastic. I can see another couple Wonderbolts episodes in the arc - I'm sure raising the ranks in an established job while dealing with co-workers can make for a friendship episode. 1 Courtesy of @Sparklefan1234

Yeah. Hurricane fluttershy too. I kind of wonder if The fault in our cutie marks Might have the Wonderbolts too? Either way, hoping they follow up on WA and Rarity investigates by having LD and Wind rider team up at some point Edited May 11, 2016 by Unlikeable Pony

A couple days back an idea popped into my head that I thought could be a fun episode where Rainbow Dash has to train a new cadet who turns out to be afraid of heights for some reason. Basically an episode of her helping a pegasus version of Transformers' Silverbolt get over his phobia. I don't know what others think of, but personally it's something I'd like to see something like it happen Yeah. Hurricane fluttershy too. Either way, hoping they follow up on WA and Rarity investigates by having LD and Wind rider team up at some point Honestly I never understood why everyone hates them more every episode they were in, they only really seemed to be a problem in Rainbow Falls and Newbie Dash(though that last one is very debatable) Edited May 11, 2016 by Megas
Luminance 2,187 May 11, 2016 Share May 11, 2016 I can see a future episode about Rainbow Dash learning on how to trust the wonderbolts.

I'm confused. How would a Pegasus afraid of heights manage to become a cadet? My brain hurts trying to figure that out. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!! Ask Silverbolt, he's the leader of the Aerialbots and he's afraid of heights I'm pretty sure the idea was simply meant to be ironic. I just got the idea from him and I thought he or at least a similar character would make for an interesting addition to the Wonderbolts Also I like PiratePony's idea

Makes about as much sense as bulk biceps being accepted into the academy as a recruit despite being BARELY able to fly. That's the kind of think you'd think would come up in the application's tests
