1. In Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, we're honestly supposed to see Eraqus as an overly paranoid bigot for being too Light-biased. Never mind the fact that virtually every major tragedy in the series has been caused by Darkness in some shape or form, while virtually every major solution has been Light-based in some shape or form. Plus, not only is the desire for "balance" what led to Xehanort becoming a Complete Monster in the first place, but Eraqus's devotion to Light is what enables his Heart to ultimately protect Terra's from Xehanort's complete possession. Honestly, I'd much rather live in the "tyranny of Light" at this rate.

 

2. The Light Side ending in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Yes, because wanting to get rid of such a sociopath automatically means that you want to replace him. Not to mention how Starkiller has already managed to use the Dark Side for Light Side purposes rather frequently. Plus, in Return Of The Jedi, Palpatine clearly proves that the only surefire way to stop him is by killing him, so...
