Power Crystals

 

In Equestria, there are crystals called Power Crystals, that when consumed by a unicorn, temporarilly enhance the unicorn’s magical abilities. However, the use of these crystals weakens a unicorn’s magic; when a unicorn uses Power Crystals several times, they become unable to perform basic magic without it. Power Crystals are both psychologically and physically addictive. They rewire a unicorn’s mind, so that they become obsessed with using them. Lower grades of Power Crystals even cause organ failure and necrosis.

 

Types of Power Crystals

-Blue: 30,000 bits/carat

Highest purity, greatest magical enhncement

-Green: 1000 bits/carat

Second highest purity

-Yellow: 250 bits/carat

-Orange: 50 bits/carat

Contains compunds that lead to organ failure (lower concentration than red)

-Red: 20 bits/carat

Lowest purity, contains compunds that lead to organ failure and necrosis

 

Power Crystals are illegal in Equestria. Despite this, they are still accessible by unicorns, and continue to ruin lives. A task force, nicknamed the Crystal Crushers, has been set up to defeat the ponies who profit off of Power Crystals, some of them who belong to a group called the Power Crystal Empire.

I mean, with a group called the "Power Crystal Empire" around, you'd expect him to be at least an offscreen Greater Scope Villain or something.

I doubt I'd be able to actually join the RP, due to personal time-constraints and all.
