I am not a musician or songwrither so I was hoping somepony could help or would be in using theses altered lyrics to produce a mlp spoof of the song "Can't Fight The Moonlight" based on the events of the season 5 opining episodes. here are my proposed lyric changes.

Sadly i cant make a spoof of an already made song. I compose music only and sing covers though i wish you good luck on that. i know how hard it is in making music

just making the lyrics is good enough for me but I just put this out there in case anypony wanted to give it a try. I am more of a artist/author

But to be honest...the lyrics are quite cheesy. You told too much instead of show. A big rule of thumb when writing lyrics is to "show, don't tell". Show the yearning of Starlight, in wanting to get the cutie marks. Show her insanity as to think that a cutie mark breaks ponies apart. When you tell too much, the lyrics become unnatural and forced. 

 

I can help you revamp this in addition to making a cover.
