Riverclan camp, noon. @The Cerberus "We did, luckily enough," Moontail said to Flameheart. "I manage to work with what I had, thank you."

 

"Good." Flameheart said relieved "Tell me if you run out of something" She turned away and padded next to Stormstar.@@Unicorncob, He seemed to be irritable so Flameheart asked carefully "Is there anything more you need me to do Stormstar?" She hadn't rested really at all since the battle but she wanted to make sure there wasn't anything before going to rest, because she didn't want to annoy Stormstar when he was already irritable.

Darkpaw got up. "Slumberfur isn't here and I have nothing to do so....Yes, of course." He wasn't really a napping type, so he wasn't against collecting some herbs, and it would be a good excuse to see little bit more of the territory.

 

moonshine nodded "then that's settled, we'll go find some herbs. maybe we'll come across the other warriors who are on patroll, if slumberfur happens to need you then he can take you back to the camp." moonshine said to darkpaw. then she turned around and padded back to her den, folowed by a curious willowpaw "Let's see, what herbs do we need..." moonshine muttered as she looked through her stock.

Once Featherfur's patrol was near the border, Owlheart dipped his head in greeting. "Hello, Featherfur. How's the prey running?"

@@Unicorncob, Featherfur nodded in greeting to the Thunderclan patrol, nearing the border and beginning his reply.

"The prey is plentiful, currently," he said, an ever-so-slightly smug smirk adorning his face. "We're doing well, I'd say. Apart from a little bit of a skirmish with Riverclan, which I'm sure you attentive and, frankly, rather nosy cats caught sight of from across the lake. They crossed their border into the horseplace - Windclan territory, now, you see."

"Is there anything more you need me to do Stormstar?"

 

Stormstar looked over to Flameheart, his gaze softening a bit at seeing the loyal warrior. "Has there been any updates on WindClan? Any suspicious activity at all?"

 

 

Featherfur nodded in greeting to the Thunderclan patrol, nearing the border and beginning his reply.

"The prey is plentiful, currently," he said, an ever-so-slightly smug smirk adorning his face. "We're doing well, I'd say. Apart from a little bit of a skirmish with Riverclan, which I'm sure you attentive and, frankly, rather nosy cats caught sight of from across the lake. They crossed their border into the horseplace - Windclan territory, now, you see."

 

Owlheart kept his gaze level, showing no reaction to Featherfur's comments or attitude.

"You can't exactly call us nosy if you were creating such a huge scene that we could see it from across the lake," he pointed out. "I wasn't aware that the horseplace became WindClan territory. And I was at the last Gathering." His eyes narrowed. "Such a thing was never even discussed."

"Like I told earlier, I didn't sense any signs of them at our territory, and I haven't heard anyone else noticing anything." Flameheart explained but then remembered something. "Oh, And" She quietened her voice. "I have something to tell about you regarding their attack, but it might be better to talk about somewhere more private"

She had forgot to tell it earlier, and figured it would be better to tell him private that some cats had violated Stormstar's orders.

Darkpaw nodded as response and followed Moonshine and Willowpaw  to Moonshine's den, then waiting patiently Moonshine to go through the stocks.

 

moonshine came out of her den again "I need poppyseeds, borage leaves and goldenrod, but that last can mostly be found in windclan territory. maybe it's best not to take you two there. but you can help me with the poppyseeds and the borage leaves" moonshine said to the two young cats. then she padded away.

"Whether you were witness to the discussion or not, Windclan and Riverclan came to an agreement that the horseplace would be our's - at least for now. They could have it if they found themselves needing it more than us, and currently they don't."

He was lashing his tail simply at the thought of the incident.

Stormstar listened to Flameheart's report, and nodded at her request. "Come with me."   He led the warrior into his den, and sat down in his nest. "Now, you were saying?"

Slumberfur didn't agree with fairness of the 'discussion' at gathering since Windclan had already taken the territory and thought that attack to the camp was little bit over reacting from trespassing to territory like that but stayed quiet agreeing with a nod to that being between River- and Windclan.

"Aright" Darkpaw followed Moonshine outside, He knew what poppy seeds looked like, but he wasn't sure about borage leaves. 'But if they didn't agree with us, they should have spoken up about us already having marked the borders,' he thought, reassuring himself. 'We're still not in the wrong, here.'

The large cat nodded to Owlheart, appreciative of his words for once. "That is true," he agreed. "I'm sure we'll find some way to work it out."

"The horseplace doesn't belong to any Clan," he murmured, "or at least, as far as I am aware. WindClan has some explaining to do, come next Gathering."

 

He looked up at the she-cat, and nodded. "Thank you, Flameheart. I'll need to remind the Clan of my orders, apparently."

She looked around the camp, she was still wondering who would have broken straight order and why, she didn't see any reason to go there, until....it couldn't be that some cats wanted this to happen, or could it? She looked through the cats in the camp, she couldn't think anyone who could want that. She got the thought out of her head "what am I thinking" and started padding towards Warriors' den.

 

 

 

Owlheart gave a curt nod, silently glad that Featherfur was being rational. "I'll advise Kitestar not to get involved--this is between RiverClan and WindClan, as I said."

"As long as you keep it that way" Slumberfur thought to himself, but stayed quiet just keeping eye on the Windclan's cats for anything notable.

Willowpaw looked around and soon she saw some little purple flowers, maybe moonshine had ment those! she picked one of two and went back to her "Dwid you mwean those?" she asked with her mouth full of flowers. moonshine laughed "No, those are the wrong ones, spit them out, maybe you can go help darkpaw with the poppyseeds, we don't want him to accidentally swolow them, now do we?" Moonshine said with a chuckle. "Alright moonshine" willowpaw said and she went off to go to darkpaw.

He padded out of his den and climbed over it, announcing a Clan meeting. He begun once the Clan had been gathered.

"I've just discovered that some of the Clan have deliberately disobeyed my orders," he meowed, "and gone near the RiverClan border, inciting an attack because they seem to believe they can just take the horseplace for themselves."

 

 

 "Thank you, then," Featherfur replied. "It shouldn't be too long before things are resolved."

He spotted Slumberfur keeping on eye on him and the other Windclan cats, and narrowed his eyes at the Thunderclan warrior before flicking his tail and turning to face his patrol.

"I do think it's time we got back," he said.

Lavenderpaw gave a polite smile before hurrying after Featherfur as he gathered the party and prepared to head back to camp.

He followed the WindClan warrior's gaze to Slumberfur, who was eyeing them cautiously. He couldn't fault them for it, not after what they'd just learned.

 

He gave Lavenderpaw another small nod before turning to his Clanmate. "Let's keep going."

Darkpaw carefully collected poppyseeds on a beech leaf he had found close by. When Willowpaw appeared, he turned to her. "Any luck with borage?" "Poppyseeds are plenty here."

Willowpaw sighed and shook her head "no luck yet, the borage I found wasn't the borage she was looking for" she said with a little chuckle. "Can I help you with the poppyseeds? Moonshine said that you shouldn't swalow them but it seems like you have taken care of that" she gesturred to the beech leaf with her tail.

Flameheart turned towards Stormstar as her leader announced a clan meeting. When he told his announcement, Flameheart looked around her, trying to catch any unusual reactions, but couldn't see or hear anything else than expected speculation on who had disobeyed, hostile comments about Windclan and general discussion about the topic

 

Stormstar watched for any reactions as he went on with his announcement. "I will make sure WindClan's activities will be looked into, but I won't say this a third time. No one is to go near WindClan territory without my permission. They want the horseplace to themselves, and for now, they will have it."

 

 

Slumberfur nodded and turned to continue the patrol, when he was sure Windclan patrol was gone, he turned to Owlheart "What do you think? Should we keep an eye out with Windclan?" 

 

"That will be up to Kitestar to decide," Owlheart murmured, padding along the border and refreshing the scent marks. "But I will suggest we do so. If they're taking territory for themselves, who knows what they'll do next? They may try starting war."

"Sure, you can help." He gestured with his tail towards another beech leaf in the ground. "There is enough poppyseeds to fill two leafs."

Flameheart didn't notice anything unusual, there was comments both, in favor of and against Stormstar's decision for letting Windclan to have the horse place, but that wasn't anything unusual in the clans, not every cat agreed in everything, and no cat seemed like they were planning to disobey. "Maybe they are in patrol right now."(thinking) Flameheart hoped they were, because if those who disobeyed orders were here, hearing that they might be only reason for the attack that injured many without reaction, they might have wanted it, and that worried her.

Willowpaw nodded and dragged the beech leaf closer, then she also started collecting seeds, Darkpaw had been right, ther were a lot of them here "how did you know ther were so many here? or were you just lucky to find them?" she asked while she was collecting some. 

 

meanwhile, Moonshine had wandered off a bit, searching and sniffing through the bushes to search for borage. she also wandered in the direction of the windclan territory, since the next herbs she needed were found there.

@@The Cerberus, @@Unicorncob, Featherfur began strolling back through the territory with his patrol at a brisk pace, thinking carefully about the conversation which had just taken place and the glares from some ThunderClan cats. Exasperated simply with the recollection, he continued to lead everyone else through the WindClan camp entrance and proceeded to settle down in his nest.

 

Once Flameheart was gone, Stormstar took an angry swipe at his nest. WindClan taking territory for themselves? Moontail emerged from her den upon hearing her leader call a clan meeting. Hurrying over and sitting down comfortably, tail looped neatly around her front paws, the medicine cat pricked her ears and listened closely to what Stormstar had to say.

Stormstar watched for any reactions as he went on with his announcement. "I will make sure WindClan's activities will be looked into, but I won't say this a third time. No one is to go near WindClan territory without my permission. They want the horseplace to themselves, and for now, they will have it."

Moontail took note of every cat who voiced their disagreement, exchanging awkward glances with a few before facing the clan leader again.

"When I was the whole day with Slumberfur, we went past here while practicing hunting." Darkpaw explained "It was fun day." "Besides basic training he explained me what dangers is here in our territory and how to deal with them, and he even showed me how to climb and move on trees" He continued with amused tone "He told that he learned it because trees were only place he could nap in peace as apprentice."

Stormstar wasn't blind to those who were in disagreement of his orders, and he went on. "Do not misunderstand me. WindClan will be confronted, and if we have our way, the horseplace will be free ground once again. But whoever was attacked, and you know who you are, you've seen why I'm making this order.
