Grepper 3,193 June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 How many references in PONIES: The Anthology (or its sequels) did you understand? The series is mainly made up of various MLP clips set to well-known music or dialogue from other shows or movies. How many of these did you recognize? When I first watched it I wasn't familiar with the non-MLP source material they were parodying. I still enjoyed it, and I heavily referenced the wiki page I linked to above. GeekySonic 1,151 June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 I never keep count, but I'm satisfied knowing that not a lot of it went completely over my head. Actually, I think I'm going to go re-watch them now. 1 Check out my voice-acting demo reels on Casting Call Club, if you'd like.
Babyyoshi309 1,829 June 22, 2016 Share June 22, 2016 Most of them. My favorite was the Borderlands reference. I think it was in the 3rd one.
cmarston1 5,964 June 24, 2016 Share June 24, 2016 Not a lot of them. But then again I don't really get a lot of references.
Justin_Case001 4,934 June 25, 2016 Share June 25, 2016 I've seen every anthology, and I am simultaneously proud and ashamed of the fact that I got the vast majority of the references. My favorite will always be the Joker/Nightmare Moon in 1.
Dynamo Pad 11,700 June 28, 2016 Share June 28, 2016 I could only understand a few references here and there in the anthology series. Even though I didn't understand every reference, they were really funny and very well thought up and made.
