Typhoid Libby 1,265 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 ...Next thing you know, you'll act all high-and-mighty and shout response invoking catch-phrases to people cause you've watched a cartoon. Pride. There's a reason it's one of the seven big ones. I just like the show and enjoy minority of the content fan-base produces, nothing to be proud of as far as I can see. 1 FORUM GODDAMMIT
Starshine 16,333 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 Honestly there's nothing to be proud of Being a part of a huge fandom is good and all, but unless you're a creative part of the community you did nothing to contribute :/

Fox 5,330 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 The show is more entertaining then it looks. The fans and people that produce/animate/voice/ect. are awesome!

Batbrony 16,055 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 I'm not really proud (I mean, yeah, if some hater called me out, I'd say I'm proud to be a brony), just really happy to be a part of such a great and friendly community and fandom for such a wonderful show! Swordfishtrombone 384 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 You should be more positive about it! What about Lord Shaftesbury and all those other good fellas? Pride may be a sin, but without it we are nothing. But more on topic, bronys aren't reeaaaaly capable of doing anything horrifcally bad on a mass scale, surely they can only bring joy and goodness. Aren't you proud of that?

I guess when you put it like that, if there is any pride that I feel, it's not an individual pride for myself about being a brony, it's a pride for the community that there is so much friendliness, politeness, and integrity within the community itself... yeah, I'd say that's about right. Crystal Sparkle 344 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 I say that the show brings out a rather wild side of me that I simply just adore! ~I love the way Storm Spark makes love to me! Bronium 512 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 It really has made me tolerate more. I am finally ok with people watching Twilight and liking Justin Beiber. I have accepted that and I am just so proud that a TV show has actually affected my life so much. My grades are dropping actually XD. This one is a tad less creepy. Wouldn't you agree? StarStep 42 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 I wouldn't say that I feel pride for being a brony but its more pride for the community that has built up around the show. Minus a few outliers, the fandom is made of really nice folks and I'm happy that the show has inspired the acceptance and creativity that it has. My deviant art, pleasantly plush with pixeled ponies. SrFrog 927 May 4, 2012 Share May 4, 2012 It's not really pride that I feel but more of a respect kind of thing. Respect for those who take a part of the show and keep pumping-out some of the best derivative work I have seen and for those who gave the show a shot. Twiliscael 3,960 May 4, 2012 Share May 4, 2012 Due to my mindset, if I'm into something, I MUST take pride in it. Anything and everything I do has some level of pride and respect that I give it. Pride for being a brony comes from being apart of a unique and talented community as well as more of a personal thing gor standing up for what I enjoy, aka this show. If ANYBODY, whether it be a fellow athelete, a relative, a teacher, a random guy on the street, or whatever, I can and will express my pride amd defend my position on it. I tend to take the high road, get stoned, and fly low . . .
