Jeez Look at all those clicks!! My finger was getting worn at just 25k clicks and you have 100x that! Anyway here's what I managed to get done in about an hour and a half. I don't know if my mouse will recover. I was kind of sad that selling the 1 grandma I had didn't get rid of the background tile where they show her. Oh well. I admit I was a lot more daring when I first got my license. I tested my car out down this straight stretch of road and got it topped out at 120mph for a few seconds before going back down to a more reasonable 90. Speed limit there is 75mph. It was pretty safe since there was no one on the road and you can see for days so no place for police to hide. The stupidest has to be going 90mph in a 35. It was on a 4 lane divided street with sound walls on both sides so no chance of anyone besides cars being out there. A cop actually ended up driving by us on the other side but since it was divided he had to rush down to where the divide ended to give chase. Luckily the road bends so he lost sight of us and I turned on to a side road and then onto another side road but I heard the siren blaring as he raced by on the main road. Now a days I find myself usually going 1-2 miles under the speed limit before forcing myself to pump it back up to maintaining the speed limit and feeling like an old man driving. But it's safer and more fuel efficient so I guess I'm ok with my new driving habits.

Hey there is little talk of pony packs in this thread. I'd love to know where to find some good packs to play or just a single chart that you thought was good. Here are the ones I know about and my general thoughts. Just so you know I only play pad so opinions are based off that. My Little Pony Season 01 pack - Love the songs and they are expertly stepped. There are 20 songs total and I believe they came in two separate downloads containing 10 songs each. All difficulties. The original spot they were released is offline but it is being hosted on a few websites just google for it and you should find a download for it. Trotmania - Tons of songs (over 100) and has themes for stepmania 5. They have rhytm is magic and chrystalize packs and themes out. Really fun to play. They do have some nonpony songs thrown in there but they tried to pick songs that fit the overall theme of ponies (or have great pmvs) but you can always take those out if you want. Good range of difficulty so anyone can play. http://trotmania.blogspot.com/ Arrows are Magic - 2 versions out now each containing 10 songs. The difficulty ramps up significantly from standard to heavy. Creator likes to toss in 16th and occasionally 24ths for heavy difficulty and above so be prepared for that. Overall pretty decent. http://www.youtube.com/user/WinDEU Great and Powerful (Jayce) - Lots of good songs but sadly only challenge difficulty. So not a great pack for parties. Does seem to be nicely stepped the ones I have tried. So if you love challenge difficulty this may be for you http://divinelegy.com/?portal=simfiles check under jayce. Also has a mini mlp pack alongside his great and powerful pack. For Daniel 3.5 (MLP FIM version) - Also only challenges. 23 songs. Hard to tell if it is well stepped since I dont play challenge modes very often. Can't find original spot for it but a simple search will bring up plenty of places to download this pack. Party in Equestria - Not a pad pack. About 40 something songs most only with challenge difficulty. Wow I had the most exciting Triple Kill tonight. I was playing lux in dominion. I had pissed off their poppy because even though she was faster then me and could have killed me in just a few hits I used my stun, the wand shield, and dropping slows so I could gain ground and exploding them right as she was leaving the area to take her from full health to dead with me barely having a scratch. So her and Ezreal come and try to ambush me up top. I was using my slows and stuns to try and keep ahead of them when a cho comes from the side and is also hitting me. I ended up running from the top all the way down to the bottom speed up with about 100 health left and me having only knocked them down a quarter, where I finally reached my teammates yi and tristan. They keep coming after me and I throw my wand and it saves me from cho's spike but I have less then 40 health. I turn around and fire my laser and hope it goes off before I die so I can at least do something before I'm slain. Then up on the screen: Triple kill. Me and my team were stunned. It was the most exhilarating, heart pounding moments I've had in this game. Anyway I wanted to ask. How do you make the most out of an early lead? Playstyle and items wise. There have been times where I get a few early kills and know I should be leading but 5 minutes later I'm basically back to even with them. I probably need the most advice with fighters but I'd like to hear about the other types of champs too.

Nice! Also kills don't always tell the whole story. I know I played a game where I was responsible for at least 8 kills but the last hit was always gotten by someone else. Plus you can play a great game keeping the enemy team unable to harass you and too scared to do anything which while no kills could mean great gameplay. Has anyone else tried that new ARAM style of play? Its very quickly making me learn all the new rotated champions. I have to say I'm having a lot more fun with this and dominion then I am classic. It gets pretty tough at times because you cannot just go back to base to heal. You either need skills or health regen/steal or the small health regens on the map. Plus you cannot buy anything unless you have just died. I'm still trying to figure a good strategy out for it but its hard since I never know who I will be playing as.

Oh please. You can get all the protein you need for the day in just a few servings of vegetables. I understand you dont agree with going vegetarian but that's no reason to throw out hyperboles meant to induce fear of it when OP is looking for facts about it.

Geeze just because you become a vegetarian doesnt mean you are suddenly malnourished. She wants to take control of her diet so I say good for her. I'd say on average my vegetarian friends are better nutrition wise than most omnivore friends of mine. Yes you should eat healthy as a vegetarian as you should if you eat meat. Also I have to disagree with the argument that you will never get enough protein without eating meat. Most people consume way more protein than their body needs. If you replace your general caloric meat consumption with vegetables than you will be fine. Vegetables generally have close to the same amount of protein per calorie as meat, it's just they are usually lower calorie count per weight. As for the 3 protein strands not found in most veggies you can find in certain kinds of nuts or dairy if you go that route. Anyway at OP this is a good way to force yourself to look at your diet so good luck to you and while some may say that it will not stop the slaughter of some animals enough people stopping will cut down on the raising and slaughtering of them so its a little. Also agree with silverhoof, do not become a person who hates on regular omnivores. This is your decision and as others should not belittle you for choosing to live this way, you should not belittle them.

Hmm looking pretty good. You have the appeal to your authority, how she is a ruiner of society, how her background/genes are inferior, threats and insults. You might want to change the first few lines to something like "I want to help you understand where France is but as I have told you this again..." continued same as above, that way you get sympathy right off the bat for trying to help this poor soul. Another thing is never ask nor accept advice. Asking or accepting makes you appear fallible which as a winner you should know you never are. That you might not know something may make others think that you may not know more stuff which can discredit your entire platform. If someone offers good advice out of the blue say something to the effect of that you already knew that and belittle them a bit for even suggesting something that anyone with half a brain would have already known. Shows off your superior intellect while discouraging challengers who know they could never compete with such an advanced debating style.

Man reading through this thread makes me feel really old even though I am in my mid twenties. I had a vague idea of what swag was before the example given and I've seen a couple of mentions of Yolo which I am not sure of. Anyway, teenagers do dumb things in every era. It is a fact of life. Will I hate on them for it. No, I will just be glad I am not one anymore. The thing I do see that is disturbing among teens nowadays is how they always have to be plugged in. I can try to talk to someone and they will be texting or checking something on their phone at the same time. Very rude in my opinion. They have short attention spans and will wall themselves off with their technology.* I'm just wondering if most will be able to break out of their habits enough in the future to be able to handle doing a job because I've seen some check their phones while a customer is talking to them and they seem to zone out quicker. *Generalizing based on what I've seen compared to my teenage years

So what do you do to get inspired to create your form of art? I know for me getting started is the biggest problem and it's hard to overcome that at times but I found going through a source, like watching part of an episode of Friendship is magic and looking for something off or weird or different from the norm can inspire me to try to expand on what I've found and start creating. How bout you?

It is too long. A better number would be from 60 -70. You can easily make a relevant post in that amount and don't have to fluff it up to be 100. Personally I have noticed a lot of posts adding fluff and spam to their otherwise relevant posts and that is more annoying to me than short reactionary posts. I think a compromise would be the best. The intention is good and I can see how character limits can help but I think it just needs tweaking on the number.

Hey, creating pixel art is not all that difficult. It is just time consuming. If you are just wanting to make a single frame thing all you need is paint or paint.net. Me, I usually make animated sprites so I use photoshop which is a bit overkill but I love having layers. Some free programs you can try are Animation Shop Pro or Gimp or Photoscape or Microsoft GIF Animator and I know there are plenty of others. Basically whatever program you use set the pencil tool to 1 pixel and start drawing. Anyway to get to your other questions before basic tips. Deviant art icon limits are 50x50 so that will be your canvas size. To make good pixel art you usually do have to go pixel by pixel for the outline and the detail. Now for the pony icons are you looking to make a pony trot cycle that are based off desktop ponies as so many people seem to do on DA or are you just looking for a static image? Anyway basics are for that canvas size you are going to want your lines to be only 1 pixel thick. You may want to try shrinking an image of the pony you want to sprite down to the size you need it and then using that as reference so you get the proportions correct. I suggest looking at a few of the icons you like and zooming in and seeing how they crafted their pixel art so you can imitate it and get the look you want for your icon. Anyway I wish you luck and if you have any more specific questions. I'm willing to answer them or I'm sure one of our other resident pixel artists, as I've seen a few, would be willing to help you out. Yes I love having keyboard shortcuts. That's the whole reason I've stayed with photoshop so I don't have to relearn new ones.

awesome. Good luck on your plushie. So you were looking for tips and info. I will tell you what I know. First what materials are you going to use? Most of the best quality plushies use minky but it is kind of expensive and limited on colors compared to the next most common of blizzard fleece or anitpill fleece. A good site for minky http://minkydelight.com/ and Joanns or another fabric shop will work for fleece. I waited til there was a sale to get mine. Next what about the eyes/cutie mark. Embroidered looks really nice but you have to have a machine or buy them from someone who does like 'e the pony' who is relatively cheap to purchase from unless you want to try hand embroidery which took me a whole day from sun up to sun down to do just the eyes though I was pretty new at it so you might be able to do it faster. You can do appliques which are supposedly cheaper and look ok. You can just do fabric with a heavy boarder which can look pretty good too. Next do you have a pattern. There are some free ones online but I was not a fan of most of them. I took an old blanket and created a few frankenponies before I got a pattern I was happy with. I suggest doing some type of pattern testing beforehand so you dont waste fabric unless you are an excellent seamstress then its up to you. Also dont sell yourself cheap. Your time is valuable and I know plushies can take a long time to make. Well good luck and keep us updated so we can see how you're doing.

This is a fantastic show. Good jokes, stellar writing and characters with personality. If this keeps up it may pass MLP (don't worry, we will always have best fanbase). They also do nice little visual gags in the background that are fun to watch out for. Anyway is this going to be the thread to talk about each episode as they air?
