At the strike, he instinctively grabbed her to try and get away from the bite.  He growled at her, saying, "So you don't take compliments too well.  I'll keep it in mind next time we meet."  He attempted to push her off of him and delivered a punch to her mouth, hoping to knock at least one of the fangs out.

Twilight Shadow ducked under the punch and backed away not wanting to lose her fangs, she needed them when her magic didn't work, along with eating, she couldn't just drain life from the plants and use that to sustain her.. She let out a snort and still continued to glare at him. "You said something about a plan to save Equestria? Tell me about it, and I might stop trying to kill you" she remarked. She tasted his blood with her tongue and smirked, he did taste rather nice.

Copper smiled, then rubbed his neck from where he got bit.  It stung a bit, but he didn't care.  He looked at her and said, "Well, I'm thinking of causing havoc against the alicorn hunters, and you seem to be the alicorn for the job.  Are you able to give the hunters hell while I look for a way to restore order and balance so that you can try to unbalance it?"

Twilight Shadow thought about it, "I maybe could be persuaded to cause some problems to the hunters, though if you balance the world, who's to say your going to let me unbalance it again?" she asked smirking, "also maybe I want those hunters to actually kill one of us, that would defiantly unbalance the world beyond repair"  she finished. She wasn't just a cute pony, she was also rather smart.

Copper thought about it, then shrugged at Twilight.  "Doubt the beyond repair thing'll work, there might be a chance that a new alicorn might rise from the dead one, starting the process all over again.  As far as unbalancing, it's your choice, though you know we're going to try and stop you, right?  It's pretty simple."

 

He walked closer to his opposite alicorn and whispered in her ear, "Between you and me, I'll build you a home so that you can reign on your side.  Would that be okay?"

Twilight Shadow frowned, she wouldn't be able to defeat the others without his help, though she could kill him later, and rule over the whole world. She thought it over, "ok, you can have your side, and I will have my side, though if you die before me, then I get to have you're side as well" she remarked. "and you can build me a palace, nothing else" she finished. She looked around "so where are the other alicorns we need to meet, we can have them help us or remove them" she finished simply.

Copper thought for a moment.  "I don't know where the rest are, but we do need them to help us.  We can split into two groups should we find them, you take two and I'll take the other two.  I have a feeling the nature alicorn won't want to join you, so she's with me.  And I don't know about the rest, but I do know they're fleeing the cottage, knowing that the hunters will return there in greater numbers."

Twilight Shadow nodded, "Ok I will try and find the others, I think one went to the lake" she finished, she then disappeared into the shadows. She continued walking towards the lake, maybe that other powerful alicorn was nearby, she paused by the lake and dipped her hoof into it and then decided she should wash the blood out of her mane, she did this while she waited for the other water alicorn to appear.

As Amarok refreshed himself at the bottom of the lake he could feel a presence through the water. First it was only a light touch, but then the feeling that it was using large amounts that would spill back in, along with another unknowable liquid. He could only assume somepony with cruel intent knew he was in there, and was pumping toxin into the lake. Over my dead body. The water in the bank where Twilight was washing out the blood suddenly formed into a maw, lashing forward and trying to close around her to drag her in. at that same moment Amarok prepared to freeze the lake over. He had no plans to kill, not yet anyways, but restraining somepony always provided him with the information he needed to determine if it was the correct course of action.

Twilight Shadow had just nearly finished washing when the lake began to swell before trying to capture her in it, she just managed to open her wings before she got dragged under the water,her horn began glowing black as she blasted frequent death beams though the water harmlessly, she managed to strike a fish that was swimming nearby causing it to turn into bones which slowly sunk to the depths below.

 

With several flaps of her wings she managed to break above the water, if this Alicorn wanted to play rough, she was game, she managed to drag several rocks, and logs into the shallows of the lake before getting dragged back under the water again, this time she allowed herself to be slowly dragged down, she cast a shield around herself giving her enough air to escape if things didn't go so well.

The beams fired in the struggle missed, the depths where he stood far too deep to see him, however one landed in the sludge next to him and with the slight blast irradiating outwards, numbing his entire left leg. How unpleasant. After casting a shield around herself, the lake flash froze, a dome of air around her from her shield. Amarok had to communicate with this being, they were definitely not dead, and they had dragged debris into the lake. The best way to tell them was simple. He moved through as part of the ice before laying one of his frosty hooves against the bubble with an audible *Thok* Then carved a message into the ice surrounding her dome, Take down the shield please.

Twilight Shadow slowly lowered her shield, though kept her horn glowing keeping a charged up attack ready for if he proved to be hostile, she would like to kill him but didn't want Copper to kill her for it. she glared at the ice alicorn, "I would have normally killed you by now, though i'm under orders not to" she grumbled, she sat down on the ice. "we need to gather each of the Alicorns and then plan a form of attack, otherwise these hunters will pick us off, one by one, you wouldn't last long here if they started to poison the lake now" she remarked to him. She snorted "can we maybe, go above the water? some of us can't breath down here" she growled.

He pressed through the ice and stepped into the sphere and listened to her patiently. She had tried to kill the other one, and was speaking about her desire to kill him. "Kill me, no. You have broke under the will of another, how can you expect to kill me if you aren't strong enough to do as you wish." The ice began to shift, moving the sphere upwards until the ice above them opened up to the sky, and they were standing on the flat, frozen lake. "You are asking me to kill when I don't really have to. You are asking me to make sure others die? No, I can do better. I am heading to the sea right now, no pony could find me in the vast depths of that abyss." He turned his back to her and continued, "His plan is idiotic at best if you ask me, and neither he nor you convince me otherwise."

Twilight Shadow blocked his path, "I think not, you shall not leave here, as a Element bearer you do not get that luxury. Without your're element what will balance the fire element?" she asked frowning. "if you left that would commit the land to a worse fate then if you had simply died, you would disrupt the order of the world, and that is unacceptable" she growled her horn glowing black. To emphasis her point she killed a tree nearby to the lake and levitated it over to him. "without Death there could be no life, and vice-versa. The nutrients from death go back to create life again, without my opposite or me there would be chaos beyond imagine" she growled.

 

"If the water element was gone, what would balance the fire element?" she queried. "you're departure would be worse then me killing you now, because at least the world would correct itself in time, even if we must wait a eon for another water bearer to be born, so be it. If you simply exiled yourself then no new water element would appear since you would be already possessing it, there can only be one bearer of every element" she hissed at him. "So chose, stay or have your life be forfeit. There is no other choice" she growled at him.

 

Her horn glowed black ready to fight him to the death if he should decide to shrink from his responsibility.

Ephei had wandered far after the previous... Engagement of... Infighting, not sure what to call it at that point was how he saw it though. Once he had gotten far enough away he had noticed a trail of charred grass behind him "Oh... That Nature Alicorn must have gone the opposite direction... And quite far I guess." He sighed as he had wanted to get help controlling his power. But he might as well train his magic so that he could eventually prove useful to people around him, ofcourse he has no real talent with magic being born an earth pony but it's better to give it a try than never to try. He started by closing his eyes and casting a simple fire spell...

 

A minute later he heard the sound of a branch falling, he opened his eyes and to his horror he still couldn't control the growth of the fire... Only hinder it. He looked down in defeat as he felt some sort of warmth near his heart, his veins started to glow a bit more brightly as his heart beat went up, slowly he raised his head just to see that the fire was... Swirling in the air towards him? He unconsciously controlled the fire? This was something new to him. Then he remembered where he had felt this sensation before. Yes, back then at the volcano. Was this his gift? To be able to absorb heat, was this the reason he was chosen as the representation of fire? Many questions popped up with no answers. He had just realized that the swirling fires had reached his body. The rampaging forest fire stopped spreading as it slowly spiraled into him. The sensation he felt was that of emotions, emotions that wasn't his own... He felt sorrow, pity, dread and... Joy. He felt love covered by pain and pain covered by a longing feeling. He couldn't tell why but his mind jumped to the conclusion of these emotions being the ones of the fires. He couldn't tell which fire showed which emotions but he was making progress... Now if only he could do this consciously the next time. But that would have to be for sometime later, the forest fire would attract people. He best get moving he thought before he felt that the fires that entered him, their raging energy was slowly going out from his body. Not in form of fire but in form of steam. After that he felt a bit thirsty, was this a sife-effect from being inexperienced? Either way he started moving before trying to think about it.

"Silly mare, and what were to happen if I were to join you in killing the hunters, more would come and this time they would attack with no regards to mercy, because we slaughtered mares and stallions with families and friends just doing their jobs, what they believe is right. This time, they would know where we are, and when the next one inherited the power, they wouldn't have the strength to abandon that which they love, and they would be killed as well. This never ending cycle of death would persist until only the last to inherit this power remain." He stepped closer, face to face, "And that's your definition of a good idea? Of course it is," Sizing her down, "Seeing as you would just as soon betray us. You said it yourself, you don't give any care about the balance of Equestria, and even more so, you would sooner see it destroyed than balance come into fruition. There are many things you can do," Moving in and whispering into her ear, "Lying to me isn't one of them." Then backing away, "If you want me to join you, force wont help, and if you think you can just kill me that easily, you'll be dead and wrong. You're not very convincing, you should have sent your master, slave." Then disappeared with a flash of mist, teleporting towards a tall grass field right outside of the forest.

She was more convincing than she let on, however he wasn't able to bring himself to believe her. He had not seen them fight for their cause, and if they wanted to change his stance on the world, only the one with the utmost conviction in the cause would be able to convince him. He laid in the grass and decided to take a rest, maybe something would happen, but not within his realm of control.

Twilight Shadow growled as he insulted her, she wasn't too happy by his answer. Her rage slowly built up as he continued, she paced towards him about to attack before he suddenly disappeared in a flash of mist, she blinked waiting for the mist to disappear, when it did he had vanished. She growled annoyed at his cowardliness, how dare he run from his responsibility, i'm not a slave, I will show him she thought.

 

she paced towards the lake still angry at his insult, she would teach him, as she passed any type of life she killed it, she walked around the lake killing everything around it, this was her revenge. She killed everything, starting with the plants and animals, then down to the microbes within the soil causing the lake verge to be barren like a desert, then she turned her attention to the lake itself. 

 

The amount of life within the lake surprised her, it would take a long time to simply drain the whole lake of energy. She slowly started to drained the life out of the lake, she started on a single lifeforms killing the algae, after killing them off she slowly moved her way up the food chain, taking only enough energy to insure each lifeforms demise, after several hours the lake had changed from a clear blue to a dark black color, several larger animals bobbed on-top of the lake, she glanced proudly at her work, if he did return, he wouldn't hide here and he wouldn't forget her either. 

 

Her revenge was complete. She moved away from the lake, a trail of death following her.

As he was no longer connected to the lake, he could no longer sense her revenge, but put up thin webs of frost between each blade of grass in the field, in order to sense incoming threats. He had not survived this long off of being careless, and the ocean was close enough that soon he wouldn't even have to try. The fact was he only seen this power as a key to a tower of death, corpses all vying for the power and immortality it grants. He wouldn't be a part of the contribution to the corpse pile. He wasn't visible through the grass, but evidence he was there could be seen. Dew gathered on the grass, sparkling from the sky.

Twilight Shadow passed though the grass with impunity of what she had just done, her hooves crushed several strands of the frost webs without noticing, the grass nearby died as she passed though it though all this power had a cost that she hadn't considered before. She was alone, no other pony could understand her twisted desire to inflict pain and death on others, well one could but he was a god or so she thought, she was no more then a tool to him, nothing more. She walked and thought to herself continuing to crush on the frost webs. 

 

She knew she had been hurt badly and had been transformed into what she was now, she knew she had taken pleasure in harming others releasing her own pain in the process, though she just felt worse after every pain caused. She blinked, was she immortal, she didn't know, she knew she was a Alicorn and wasn't the princesses Alicorns and lasted for hundreds if not thousand of years. She frowned, she didn't know of any evil Alicorns, was she the first, or did the evil ones before her perish without a trace.

 

She wasn't a good pony, though she wasn't a bad one either. She frowned, no she did bad things, so she was a bad pony. Though she reasoned she only did bad things to make the world a better place, the world was worse the her, so she improved it. With that flawed reasoning she smiled contented that she was a good pony. She had to do bad things to end up causing the word to be as it should.

 

With that soul searching over, she killed the grass around her within a blast of death magic.

He could feel the frost webs disconnect, crackle and fade from in front of him. He could not catch a break today it seemed, and he wasn't doing too hot on his energy reserves. He would have to be very careful, but the plan of care he was devising suddenly flew out of the window when a blast of energy tore through a large portion of the grassland. It was the alicorn, he could tell by the energy. He decided he might have upset her with his words, understandable. So he figured to try a different approach. Calling out in a softer tone, through the grass he asked, "Come here."

Twilight Shadows ear twitched as she caught the faint whisper of a voice, she looked over towards that direction and slowly advanced. Her horn glowing ready to unleash another wave of death magic, she spotted the water element guardian and smirked opening her wings and flying over towards him. She looked at him thoughtfully, struggling with her own rage of emotions, she finally made up her mind and closed the distance between themselves and raised a protective shield around herself.  

 

"You insulted me, and suggested I was evil with a alternate motive, rather then my original concept that I was designed to help the world, that I was a necessary evil" she stated blinking, her eyes showing hurt for the first time. Then they hardened, "however, I've realized that, I'm not a bad pony, the world is bad, and it needs to be cleansed. The world is plagued by disease and up until now, I've not realized what that disease was, thank you for helping me" she continued.

 

"Ponies are the disease, those hunters that disrupt the balance, need to be removed, and civilization as we know it needs to be cleansed. I need to think of a word for this." she remarked. Her eyes glazed over before shining at a answer, "yes that's it, this cleansing will be called 'The Path Of Now and Forever', I will not rest until every living pony has been destroyed or follow the way" she finished.

 

She twisted her head looking at him, she had a problem, would this pony follow the way or would he need to be destroyed, this was indeed quite a problem. "Though you're a pony, I'm unsure if you're a good pony or a bad pony, should i kill you or should i leave you be" she contemplated. She snorted, "I will leave you be, until you show signs of good or bad" she remarked.

A mountain? Well, Summer supposed she could do that... She had been living in isolation for so long as it was, in this forest all by herself, that it would have made little difference to her. But, if she went to anywhere with nature present - and that was nearly everywhere - she couldn't stay long. Just as what happened with this forest, others would eventually notice the thriving life and sudden abundance of growth that her presence would inevitably bring. It was an indirect influence, too; she couldn't simply turn it off.

 

She hated bringing an innocent into this. But, if he could help somehow, she was at the least interested in hearing what he had to say, what idea he had for where she could hide. "Really? What place do you have in mind?"

"well you see before all of this went Tarturas and back, my family ran a farm... the farm is barren now but the farm house is still there and its pretty far from most things. I guess I could hide you there, not many ponies come around anymore." he smiled a bit

He laid down, looking to the ground as she raised her shield. He fiddled with a small pebble in front of him, saying rather gently, "I don't plan on hurting you." Like always he remained calm and collected as he always appeared to be. What could she possible have left to say, to do? He could think of nothing.

But then as he just felt to ignore her, she began speaking of her view on herself and thanking him for helping her see the "truth." He could see an emotion enter her eyes, one while familiar, he couldn't quite name. Too long was his distance maintained that he could no longer recognize pain felt by others. However, as distant as his soul remained, he still listened with open ears and eyes, eyes locked on her as she spoke. After she did he shifted slightly, making himself more comfortable before commenting, "I'm tired. And it sounds like you've decided your path. I will not stop you, but I will not help. Are the rocks and winds aligned either malignant or not, I don't think so, and with me in an eternal slumber at the bottom of the oceans, I will be just as they are.",Then closing his eyes and resting his head, "To be honest, changes happen, and I've been experiencing them as well, but with endless slumber comes no changes." Then mumbling, "All I ask is that you please stop threatening me."

Twilight Shadow smirked at him, "threatening you, oh no. I'm going to you're going to come with me, to find your balance" she remarked, she blinked at him. "First, I need to know what you are, you're a water element bearer, but what else" she asked moving closer studding him like he was a fossil. She levitated him up several inches and glanced at the floor, "hmmmm, interesting, were you a Pegasus, Earth or unicorn before this transformation?" she asked. She herself had been a Pegasus, and thus has advantage and increased stealth.
