Which episode genre would you rather have?

We have already have more SoL than Adventure, but are still usually consistently better than the adventure episodes as well. I like Adventure episodes from time to time, but I'd still rather keep things the way they are

If we could get more adventure episodes, maybe this show could get some actual decent worldbuilding for a change instead of only going to the same 4 locations all the time.

The show takes place in a far off magical land where pastel colored ponies raise the sun and the moon, and control the weather, I kind of expected the land of Equestria and beyond to be more interesting than it currently is.

The cutie map is the perfect tool in order to take the main cast to interesting new locations and make the world feel much more lively, and instead we get to see Canterlot and Manehatten for the 456th time, and it doesn't even appear all that often.

At least the world of Equestria Girls movies take place in, what you see is what you get.

You never expect it to be all that interesting, and thus don't get this same level of disappointment when there isn't a lot of worldbuilding or exploration or things like that or that the locations aren't too terribly interesting.

I sort of feel that's a rather narrow range, but I would prefer more slice of life episodes. I know people want to see the world, and I find the setting interesting as well, but I just feel slice of life episodes complement the setting and characters more. The adventure episodes we've gotten lately have felt relatively shallow to me, and despite everything, our main characters aren't a group of adventurers by profession. I want this show to focus more on comedy and character development than action and adventure. Again, adventure can be fun, especially as shown in the comics, but it's a fair deal harder to give any relevance to the protagonists, which is why the map is needed to facilitate what adventures we do get.
