The Fandua Foundation. A third-party research lab, on a private island off the coast of Manehattan. Home to some of the most brilliant minds in all of existence, dedicated to the treatment of disease and research for new antibiotics and vaccines. It is through their efforts that Equestria survived the recent Boar Epidemic; a disease almost along the lines of the Black Plague that ran rampant before the establishment of Equestria.

 

So when a private contract is delivered to you in person, it seems needless and suicidal to throw oneself against some of the finest minds on the planet, sitting behind some of the greatest technology and the tightest guards, designed to ward away any terrorist threat towards this otherwise miracle of science.

 

However, as the mysterious figure explains, he discovered through a series of compromised documents that not everything was as it seemed with this facility.

 

First, the serial numbers of the papers acquired speak of a F12- when there are supposively only five floors in the entire complex. While this doesn't prove anything by itself, the papers proceed to call into account several disturbing things, including the cultivation of various chemical weapons, magically-enhanced plagues, and- perhaps worst of all- pony experimentation. Several unique medical cases were taken on by the Fandua Foundation, several of which were never seen again, having been declared dead publicly, with all the paperwork behind it. While the papers may be forged and the rumors a coincidence, the cloaked figure states with finality that a third party is required to investigate the rumors more... thoroughly than any mere investigator or commissioner would be legally allowed to do. He needs to know if the documentation is real, how far down the facilities go and how far the experiments are taken.

 

A handsome reward was gathered to be split up amongst the team. The smallest number given was in the millions- well enough to set any pony up for life.

But would anyone be willing to infiltrate such a high-security research lab on what could be a false positive?

Hey there, everyone! It's been a while since I tried to host my own RP. I've recently been hit with a wave of inspiration, so let's try it again.

 

First off, rules. I know, I know, OH GOSH ANOTHER RP WITH RULES, but it's gotta happen. So:

 

RULES

 

RULE #1: OBEY ALL RULES

RULE #2: DO NOT WRITE ON THE WALLS. ESPECIALLY IN INK. IT IS VERY HARD TO REMOVE.

 

Rule #3: No godmodding, powerplays, etc. that would make me and other people want to choke you. Choking people does not make me happy.

Rule #4: Changeling and Alicorn OCs are allowed AS LONG AS THEY ARE BALANCED. However, I must limit this to one changeling and one alicorn in the RP. First come, first serve.

Rule #5: Intentionally sabotaging the mission is not allowed, although manipulation of it to eliminate a rival is perfectly alright. However, that transitions into my next point...

Rule #6: Don't be a jerk. Seriously. Doing something once because you don't know what it does can be entertaining. Doing something intentionally for a purpose is more so. Popping every trap and every security measure in place just to irritate people is one way to end up with somebody sticking a bullet through your skull.

Rule #7: People will die and there are consequences for your actions. If your actions cause a fellow agent or a rescued target or whatever to die, there is no rewind button. In addition, everyone who signed up has signed a warrant that says that 'I have the obligation to have unfortunate things occur to my character.'

Rule #8: Romance exists. Keep it PG-13.

Rule #9: As the DM, I have the right to godmod and powerplay. I also, however, have the obligation to ensure that everyone here is enjoying themselves to the best of their ability. I will only use this to ensure there is a challenge, or in order to ensure that one person doesn't dodge everything for all eternity. However, I promise that I will remain responsible using this power as much as possible.

Rule #10: To join this roleplay, you are accepting that I am the DM and that I am, ultimately, in control of the experience. I attempt to ensure everyone has a good time, but ignoring me will result in nobody having a good time and ruining the experience. Please keep your notices firmly on me, senpai's!

Rule #11: To obtain entry into the roleplay, one must post a Nigel Thornberry picture or gif. One is provided below as an example of what I am looking for. Let's see if you were paying attention, yes?

Submit your character link below, and give a brief description of his or her gear that will be taken with them into this infiltration. This is a stealth mission as opposed to a shoot-everyone-in-my-way style mission, so come dressed appropriately. You will have the opportunity to stock up on supplies and equipment before you begin the infiltration, so if you have no idea what you should bring, then by all means bring no specialist equipment- I'll have your backs as long as you don't mind a generic loadout. Tech level is modern-day, but there is some futuristic gear. Just make sure you don't cross the line to overpowered.

 

You will be in a mostly urban environment with several opportunities to use a long-ranged weapon as a sniper. Once you get below ground, however, tight corridors are the name of the game. A more in-depth briefing will be provided, as well as rough images to help you visualize the area.

I would like to state that I am not currently able to post a page for the OC I'm planning to use. But I would like to say that I am very much highly interested.

 

I would be using my relatively new OC, Nightlight. He is a stallion who would undertake such a mission through his generally professional sense of curiosity. He is essentialy a very tech savvy marksman, combining both those skills into a deadly mess.

 

If there is some equiptment he would bring to such a mission it would be a generally sneaky tight suit, a portable rifle as well as flying drone which he can use to get general scans of areas and keep a closer look on things aswell as hack weaker systems.

 

If you want to nerf anything then do feel free, I will provide a proper character page tomorrow as well as some art for the character.

Ingenuity and improvisation is the centerpiece of any good team, especially on what could turn out to be a long-term op in the middle of a sea of advanced equipment. But, that'll mean less freedom to kill of failed operatives! 

 

But yeah, three is a magical number without the mission being compromised by other means such as waiting for all 5 people to post instead of all 3.
