Will G5 cater towards a new generation? What would it be like?

I've been wondering would G5 MLP strived to cater towards a new generation of children or just try and take on a creative side again? I do hope the latter, I'm not sure what the new generation could be like.

I am pretty sure that it is going to feel different than FIM for sure.

But seeing how G4 still hasn't ended yet, I don't think we have to worry about this for a while.

And that's assuming there isn't going to be some kind of G4.5 series or anything like that.

If Hasbro were smart, they would keep Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Luna, Discord, Chrysalis and Spike... Just like how they kept Optimus Prime, Iron Hide, Bumblebee, Megatron, Galvatron, Starscream and so on and so forth.

Generation Five is Skynet.

 

In all serious, they'll likely allow it to be creative again given that there is a large following for MLP, so they can milk more money. The invisible hand will likely make for great pony episodes, comrades.

As popular as G4 has been, they will likely make a similar 4.5 as opposed to an actual G5.  If they do go with a full on G5 -- it would be the art style that changes most. 

 

G 4.5 will be toon boom FiM as opposed to flash FiM.  What channel it is on, and who are the main ponies might be different.  Timeskips are possible, but I think, even if they move things forward, the current heroes will be around for special episodes.

It will probably be like the change from Teen Titans to Teen Titans Go. Because demographics and other assorted buzzwords you know.

 

I'll just let that sink in.
