She fought the Tatzlworm in Three's a Crowd with Twilight. Also, lie on the ground and do nothing? She was the one who helped cast the spell that beat the Changeling's in the season 2 finale, and was responsible for keeping the Crystal Empire protected in the season 3 premiere with her magic. That's far from doing nothing.

Well, if Chrysalis hadn't fled the scene when she did, Cadance would've been one of the many many ponies (and changelings) kicking her ass.

She seems to be more of a defensive pony rather than offensive. So far we have witnessed her using her magic not for combat but for defending, like the Crystal Empire and such. Defending isn't a bad thing either. Someone has to do it!

She did some action from what Peincess Buttmonkey only can dream of. And Luna fought against her weakling sister, that didnt even lead to an actual fight.

 

Cadance is the least of them we should have to complain about.

Looks like some people have no idea what they are asking or talking about if you ask me.

 

First she is a throw rug according to your opening statement, followed by a silly GIF and a clip from the show, with no actual substance behind your casual dismissal of her and mentioning nothing from her actual episodes save how you think 10% is a fair rating of someone who pretty much is keeping the entire empire safe ALL BY THEMSELVES!... then when several people give you examples of things she has done, you dismiss it all again because you would rather MLP turn into WWE.

 

I loved the fight between Twilight and Tirek, but I don't need to see every princess have a throw down in every appearance to entertain me. Furthermore, she has done plenty of things for herself, her friends and her Empire that put her well above laying around on the ground all day doing nothing... or do you only watch the show through clip art you find online or something?
