In the 41st millennium, there is only war....

 

I'm looking to see if there is interest in a Warhammer 40k roleplay. You will be part of an Inquisitor's cadre as you try to stamp out heresy on an unknown planet.

 

This will be very similar to Fantasy Flight's Dark Heresy RPG, but will not involve dice and the like. Archetypes people can be are the guardsmen(basic soldier with flashlight laser gun), psyker(magic with consequences), tech-priest, scum, assassin, cleric (religious type, not magical healer), and arbitrator(space cop).

 

I will assume the role of Inquisitor that will assign missions and also the world around you. 

 

Will you survive and take down all of the heretics? Or die trying?

It will be canon 40k, so no ponies unfortunately. It will be difficult to fit the ponies into the grimdark setting that is 40k.

Ponies mixed with humans would be an impossible arrangement considering the Imperium's doctrine. So I was referring to what is known as Ponyhammer 40k.

 

I'll keep an eye on this one, although since I'd have to build the PC from scratch, I won't commit to this just yet, OK?

That's perfectly fine. Right now it's just the planning stage so I'm just seeing if there is interest before I proceed.

I've been a closet 40K fan for a while now, and though I'll admit I'm not completely versed on the lore, I know enough about the various factions that I would be able to know what's going on.  Anything I don't understand, I'm sure I could pick up from a OneMindSyndicate or ArchWarhammer video xP

That's good to know  For the moment, I'm leaning towards either an Arbites or Mechanicus character.  I'll do more research into both before I make my final decision
