Will we see why Flash is the most popular guy in CHS?

Because Shimmy used him to become popular herself, yet ironically, SHE is the most popular amongst the fandom and Flash...Well..wuite the opposite. We haven't really seen why he's popular, or any CHS student treating him as such.

Since Flash hasn't had much character development nor have the movies revolved around him, they've never felt the need to explain how he became the most popular male student at Canterlot High. To be honest, it would make for an interesting animated short, explaining how he got to where he is.

Given how poorly the fandom has treated Flash, and how little he has appeared in the films sense, I highly doubt we will ever get any kind of character development like this for him.

Where has it been said that he's the most popular guy at CHS? He just seems like the clumsy goofy guy that makes a fool of himself around girls and trips over himself but is liked by a lot of students. (Much like Shining Armor in his Canterlot Academy days where he was just an O&O playing band nerd and one of the lowest on the high school's totem pole but everypony admired him far more than the school jock/rich guy)
