Yes, I dislike heat, so the AC (mini-split system) is on most of the year. In winter I can open the windows to get free cooling that way, but most of the time I use the AC. It really sucked when I was studying and could not afford AC. AC was one of the first things I bought when I graduated and got a job. Now my room has two ACs, in case one fails.

Yep, never lived somewhere that didn't have A/C because I well and truly hate the heat. Although houses and apartments without some form of A/C are becoming very very rare around here. Even my university has been renovating all their old dorms to have A/C after decades of over half the dorm buildings not having it.

no, I don't have air conditioning in my house but I have fans that are on when it's very hot. Unfortunately the climate at home is very muggy and thanks to my fan which makes the climate cooler.

I have one in the living room that doubles as a heater. Where I live, those things are 100% necessary if you don’t want to melt.
