Lambdadelta 1,462 April 30, 2017 Share April 30, 2017 (edited) S7E1, E2, and E4 are all character building episodes, they made Celestia relatable, they made Trixie likable, they made Starlight more likable than her S6, and they made Maud a real character more than just a gag-character with rock-puns. They all have good messenge, good character development moments, good humors and well-pacing stories. S7E3 is OK, look like a throw-away episode for me but not bad, they made me like Flurry Heart and its a plus but not engage me like other three. E1 : 9/10 E2: 9.5/10 E3: 6/10 E4: 9/10 The first 4 episodes of S7 are already more 35% better than S6's, i hope they will keep that trend. Sly 236 April 30, 2017 Share April 30, 2017 Surprisingly despite my deep hate for the S6 finale, I'm LOVING THE season so far. All the episodes have been at the very least a 9/10 to me (Celestial Advice takes the cake with a perfect 10/10) including the episode aired in Canada today, which while I understand is being polarizing I actually really loved it.
GrimGrimoire 4,973 April 30, 2017 Share April 30, 2017 I am liking it so far a lot. E1 Celestial Advice - really a fun episode, and some great insight in Celestia which was badly needed. 8/10 E2 All Bottled Up - some slightly annoying characterization and an out of place scene, but still a solid episode involving Starlight and Trixie 7/10 E3 A Flurry of Emotions - A surprise. An episode i figure would be awful that turned into the my current favorite of the season.8/10 E4 Rock Solid Friendship - Annoying Pinkie Pie could not bring this one down. Excellent Maud episode. Starlight worked fantastic to. 7/10 E5 Fluttershy Leans In - A bit slow, but excellent Fluttershy growth. I won't say any more for those who have yet to see it. 8/10 Keep it up guys and this could easily be the best season yet. 1 ~No profound statement needed~
cmarston1 5,962 April 30, 2017 Share April 30, 2017 So far the season is off to a good start for me. I thought the season premiere not being a two part episode, was refreshing and I really enjoyed Celestial Advice for giving Celestia some character development for a change, and I really liked how it handled her and Twilight's relationship. I thought All Bottled Up was the weaker of the two episodes, but I still thought it was okay, and I actually was able to sympathize with Starlight in this episode, and I thought the song was nice and catchy. I really really enjoyed A Flurry of Emotions and had a blast watching it. It was really cute and I loved that about it. Twilight got to be adorkable again, Spike was at the top of his game, and even Shining Armor and Cadence were able to get a bit more characterization in this episode. That along with a few amusing comedic moments here and there, made this my favorite episode of the season so far. While A Rock Solid Friendship isn't one of my favorites so far, I did think it was a pretty solid episode all around. The friendship between Maud and Starlight was surprisingly, but actually managed to work pretty well for the episode, and even made me warm up to Starlight a bit more by doing something with her that I felt was needed last season. Despite Pinkie being a bit annoying in it, I felt she didn't hurt the episode too much.

I remember me saying exactly the same thing for the past two seasons... and then a single but FATAL flaw prevented them from becoming my favorites (the Twilight emotional torture really porn in S5 and of course the finale in S6). As much I'm loving this season as much as you are, I won't fall in that trick a third time, so.... I'm just keeping my mouth closed this time. Nerdy Luigi 2,065 April 30, 2017 Share April 30, 2017 (edited) Episode 1- I would rate an 8.5/10. It was a really good premiere and I liked the way they actually gave Celestia personality... Episode 2- I would rate a 7.5/10. Fairly good, though the B-plot was meh, and Trixie was somewhat aggravating. Episode 3- I would rate a 5/10. It was actually pretty bad in my opinion. Have to give it credit for not being as cringy as I thought. Still cringy though. Episode 4- I would rate a 6/10. I would have given it a good 8 probably if Pinkie wasn't so annoying that I almost couldn't watch it. Episode 5 (Thanks Canada!)- I would rate a 9/10. Not going to say anything about that rating here, but it's a really good episode. So far, it's been kind of hit or miss, I feel. Episode 3 was a pretty big miss, but Episode 5 was a solid hit. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,014 May 1, 2017 Share May 1, 2017 This season so far is going fairly strong, judging from those episodes. The premiere episodes were both great, with Celestial Advice being the better of the two for me. My only issue with Bottled Up was the interpretation of the subject of anger was a tad too on the nose, but it was still a good episode. Flurry of Emotions was a huge surprise for me, I enjoyed that one a lot more than I would have ever thought. It showed Flurry Heart in a bit of a better light and the interactions between her and Twilight were adorable. Episode 4 is the weak link for me. Starlight and Maud were the definite highlight, their friendship seems very believable and true, so I am happy they got that across well. Pinkie Pie was the problem with the entire episode really, she was just too annoying for her own good. Haven't seen episode 5 just yet, but I have heard many good things, so season 7 is shaping up quite well so far. Which, 7 seasons in and still going strong, that is impressive.
BronyHekapooFan 2 June 26, 2017 Author Share June 26, 2017 Yay thanks for sharing your thoughts! Episode 1 was just amazing episode! Celestia finally has CHARACTER *cough cough*, we have our comedy, yay Pinkie is AWESOME thanks for putting her in the episode, but discord I feel was a tad off character. A little too discoordinated. I feel the rest of the mane 6(everyone but Twilight if you hadn't seen it) were placed in a little awkwardly and were smudged in there, but not poorly. Second episode was fun and entertaining but still with a goal, with the mane 6 being the most annoying part. But the episode was hilarious, a slice of lyf episode with character development in there and not placed awkwardly. Even though the mane 6 were peeing me off, the episode was fantastic! I for one think that trixy was not off character at all, as her character is one of those that are good on some days but worse on the others, and her good only comes out on certain occasions. But yes, she was being annoying. Episode three was perfect, even though the baby whomI forgottenthe name of as a tad too mature at the end. Fourth episode wasexelent, weith pinkiesimply getting too carried away with her sight.
