Opinions on Despair

I redrew my OC since my style and design has changed and I was wondering if I should attempt color. I only have markers and I'm afraid I might ruin it if I try to add to it.

I gotta say the new mane looks great! Well that's probably because I prefer messier hairstyles. They look happier in the second one too even though the name of the character's name is despair. You should totally try to color it. After all if something goes wrong you still have this picture of it.

I think she's adorable but if you wish to color her I feel you should get colored pencils. It wont bleed on your art

Thanks! The first one was done as soon as I got into the fandom so I was mostly trying to stay close to the shows art style. I hadn't drawn him in a long time though so I decided to give it a shot with my own style. I think he looks pretty cute! I started to color using copic markers and it looks nice but I don't have a shade of blue for his mane and tail  

Actually he's named Despair because he was made in coordination with my friends for a fanfiction about Elements of Chaos being created to end Equestria. He's artificial so he's supposed to represent self loathing and depression while his 'brothers' represent other forms of death of destruction. The newest drawing is more for canon rp's so that why some details have changed. Originally he turned out too cute for his creator's liking so he sewed a creepy smile onto him to try and make him more terrifying. He was deemed a failure and was originally designed with scars from self harm, but I've taken that out due to possible offenses that could be taken.

Thank you very much! HE'S my pride and joy ❤️ I made him extremely androgynous though so I'm glad the gender mistake was made, he was made to be questioned like that hehe. 

Update:

I've started the coloring process but I've hit a snag in that I don't have the sapphire blue needed for his mane and tail

Indeed! He's ironically one of the oldest of his brothers but easily the second or smallest at about mare size and he's extremely self conscious and feminine in behaviors. He blushes a lot and speaks softly and his appearance is meant to aid him in seeming like a mare.

He's undergone a HUGE transformation since I first designed him. I even tried doing a human version of him forever ago and I kind of want to do it again with the new design.

Yay! Fem brother!

That would be so cool! The only stuff I really have was two pictures made by I friend I don't hear from anymore so I've been trying to do my own art but I don't have money for good art software and my free trials are kind of used up
