firewing628 22 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 I'm always on the lookout for great new shows, and I've gone through just about all Netflix has to offer that I deem worth my time so suggestions would be fun to look through!
BlueBrony 388 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 I have enjoyed "interviews with monster girls" quite immensely. its just a slice of life show about high school monster girls trying to integrate with society with a caring teacher that is surprisingly deep for its premise. 1 Check out my youtube music channel My OC- Prof. Noble H. MintTiramisu 105 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 You may have already seen this, but I really liked this one called Attack on Titan. It's action packed and I really think you should check it out if you haven't already what's with the defeatist attitude?
firewing628 22 July 1, 2017 Author Share July 1, 2017 I will have to check out Interviews with Monster Girls. I did try Attack on Titan but couldn't seem to get past the first 10 mins for some reason. Also I prefer dubbed generally speaking and Netflix didn't have a dub of AoT.

Guest July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 Oh god, there's way too many. I don't really have a favorite, but here's a list of some of the best: FMA:BH, Death Parade, HxH, Black Butler, Durarara, Death Note, Gantz, Evangelion, Mushishi, Serial Experiments Lain, 7 Deadly Sins, Cowboy Bebop. CypherHoof 26,483 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 Current fave is Irregular at magic high school - I used to like Dog Days more, but the later seasons, while good, had too much fanservice which got a bit offputting. ᚾᛖᚹ ᛚᚢᚾᚨ ᚱᛖᛈᚢᛒᛚᛁᚴ - ᚦᛖ ᚠᚢᚾ ᚺᚨᚦ ᛒᛖᛖᚾ ᛞᛟᚢᛒᛚᛖᛞ
Discordian 6,015 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 It's simply impossible to pick any single anime that stands out above the rest. Many anime are great for different reasons. D-Frag! is hilarious and also has that side romance that keeps my attention. Darker Than Black has one of the greatest world concepts with one of the most badass main characters of all time. Ah My Goddess is extremely calming to watch and the core cast fits better together than most I've seen. It's quite the feel-good anime. Drifters has some of the best action I've seen in an anime. Taking historical wars to the literal extreme in a fantasy realm. One Punch Man is just sheer satisfaction. Watching a guy punch things and doing so much raw damage just sends a chill up my spine. Having such an invincible main character is amazing. I wish more anime would have legitimate invincible guys like this. Full Metal Panic is the perfect mix of comedy, action, fun characters and (in the third season) drama. It's hard to imagine a more perfect anime. cmarston1 5,960 July 1, 2017 Share July 1, 2017 I definitely have to recommend Yuki Yuna is a Hero. It's a darker magical girl anime in the vein of something like Madoka Magica, but it has a good deal of focus on the slice of life day to day events between the main characters. The show does a great job at making you care about the girls and their friendship, so when the darker elements happen, you really feel bad for them. It also has some really great animation and fight sequences that also help make the experience interesting.

I absolutely loved hellsing, especially because of it's character themes and gorey design, and the religious aspect of it just made it so much better. Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,934 July 2, 2017 Share July 2, 2017 Attack On Titan is currently the only I have any dedication to. Deadman Wonderland would be another one but it ended after 13 episodes, convering only 40% of the manga. I find that most anime is drenched in cliche and terrible writing, so a lot of it has a hard time keeping me invested. Like Death Note. Got up to epsiode 20 or so and gave up. I found that show to be horrendous.

I found that show to be horrendous. I'm on the flipside like OP. I can barely stand watching attack on titan and think it's poorly written. Every single scene is an unnecessary cliffhanger and the mc is annoying. I love Death Note and think it's one of the best shows out there. Seeing that you liked a comedy series I guess I can give you some of my favorite series from the same genre: Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu - about people going to a special kind of school...it's difficult to explain but it's mostly silly and intense humor Nichijou - super cute show with intense comedy Yuru Yuri - cute relaxing show about a bunch of girls doing things together Hayate no Gotoku - this anime makes fun of every anime ever including itself (around like 20 references per episode) Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou - very fun show about the daily lives of highschool boys.. Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan - show about a guy with psychic powers, very funny I've attached a link to a video of each show. If you want something with more of a drama style I suggest Toradora and Clannad I don't know if any of these has been dubbed as I hate dubs, but I'd guess most of them have since all are pretty well known shows.
