I heard about this game but for some odd reason, I didn't hear anyone talking about it.

Well, with fighting is magic now being completed by an underground fan team......I may stop playing skullgirls, but I did enjoy its artistic style, and semi-floaty combat.

I have heard a lot about this game over the years.

 

Heck, the engine of this game was going to be used for the fighting is magic game that got unfortunately canceled.

 

Last I checked, they're still working on a game using the Skullgirls engine. I don't even think they changed the title from Fighting is Magic yet, or if they even plan to.

The general population is too busy playing more mainstream stuff to even notice some poverty fighting game. It used to be pretty popular in the fighting game community though; eventually it kind of fell off the map.
