Trixie In Her Cape (Art in GIMP 2.6)

I just used GIMP 2.6 for this. Took me a while but it's worth it. Had a few problems but..

You've done a very nice job of this, the lines are smooth and connect cleanly, well done.

 

The only criticism I have is that you seem to have left out the accent and highlight on the iris of Trixie's eyes, but you've got the gradient down pat so it looks awesome regardless.

I'm same as Ice, MIND = BLOWN! xP Really though, this is an amazing drawing, I wish I had your talent. I really need to try drawing ponies, I actually never have! I know, you're all shocked... LOL! Well, anyway, my only suggestions are that the cape outline should be a bit thicker, so it matches the rest of the pic and the MLP art style, which you seem to be going for. And the next, is, the purple in between Trixie's two front legs has some white on the edges, that I would try to get rid of real quick. Just use the pencil for that. I wish the cape didn't cut off too, but oh well, this is still an amazing drawing. Really, I cannot stress this more, fantastic work! Please keep it up, I would just love to see more :3

Wasn't expecting that cape part would come out like that.
