movies/tv Do you think they should make a reboot of "Snorks"?

Snorks was a cartoon that aired in the 1980s from 1984 to 1989. The cartoon was considered a ripoff of "Smurfs" by most people who watched it. But do you think if they did a reboot of it, they would be able to revamp it enough to the point that it doesn't feel like a Smurfs rip off? 

There was able to be a good My Little Pony cartoon (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic), so it is possible that there could be a good Snorks cartoon. 

I didn't like the original Snorks cartoon, because it did feel like a ripoff of Smurfs.

I watched it when I was very young on a channel that played cartoons way older than me, but I did sort of like it (due to the fact that I was like, 6 years old if not less.) I understand what you mean when you say "There was able to be a good My Little Pony cartoon..." but originally, I don't think they would've brought it back if it didn't seem like it'd make money. "Little girls love ponies, so lets make a cartoon featuring almost exclusively ponies!" And it ended up becoming even bigger than they expected, (Note: this is meant to reference how the corporation works, not the people making it). However, I really doubt a corporation would bring back Snorks due to there being no guaranteed audience for it like there would be My Little Pony.

Well, that's a blast from the past. I'm not sure. I didn't see it as a ripoff at the time, but I suppose you could call it an undersea Smurfs.

Wasn't as popular, maybe like GoBots to the Transformers.

Catchy theme song. I feel like that about a lot of 80s cartoons, tho.

Yeah, they definitely wouldn't have brought My Little Pony back if the series was nothing but those horrible cartoons that came before "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic".

The Snorks was nothing but a bad cartoon from the 1980s. So the Snorks most likely may never be brought back.

the smurfs movies and reboots are bad enough. leave the snorks in the 80s/90s where they belong. x.x I dont need the theme stuck in my head again thanks.

Seriously, though, I agree with StormBlaze. I think MLP had way more potential, as clearly evidenced by the popularity of this show. The Snorks was a spinoff in and of itself, and I just don't think there's enough material there to work with.
