ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a term used for a tingle-like feeling that goes from the scalp and can move down the body, and is typically triggered by certain stimuli, usually audio stimuli (such as whispering, tapping, soft repetitive sounds, to name a few). ASMR is a rather new trend, but is starting to become more studied, and has a few studies out there that state it can help with anxiety, mood and sleep (but obviously should not be used in place of professional help). So, I was wondering if anyone else watched these videos? I know some people find them weird due to the subjects they can get in to, but there are perfectly fine ones out there that don't do things that are odd. A good example I can give is my favorite ASMR channel, SensorAdi. A recent example of his work (and example of ASMR in general):

I've tried a few of them, I can't stand it. It just grates on me for some reason. I'd rather just watch a seamless gif compilation

When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move,
your job is to plant yourself like a tree next to the river of truth, and tell the whole world
"No, you move."

Yeah, it's a very calming experience. But it's very subjective as well. I was kinda surprised to learn some people don't experience it - I can't remember when I didn't!
