My Little Pony: RPG

Okay imma tell you secret, i am currently making a My little Pony Video Game with experienced video game designers, It is going to be a turn based fighting RPG, similar to paper mario. It will have bosses, sidequests, items, and you will play as the mane six and other ponies. It is a very long process and i hope it to be done in 2014, There is about a 60% chance though that the game will be finished and go to beta testing. If i could have some people mix up some music to put in the game, or give me some ideas, it would be very appreciated.

Okay, i expect it to be a PC game for ease of access, and the beta will be free to maybe MLPforums users that has had an account before January 1st 2014, or just free to all, i need to make a profit! So i might raise the price later.

That's awesome! I loved Paper Mario and it's sequel The Thousand Year Door. Wasn't crazy for the last one mostly because they took out the turned based combat. If you do this, that would be awesome. I'd definitely play!

When asking for music, its best to have examples of what you want the music to sound like (from experience)

Battle music, (If you know what i mean) Relaxed forest music, (Not with like random monkey noises) maybe waterfall. Stuff you would find in RPG's. Such as slow deep music in a volcano or medium slightly jumpy for a town.

My Little Pony RPG? Sounds dynamite.

 

For the soundtracks, I'm pretty sure we can help you out by picking out songs that fits the environments in the game and the community can vote for the song for that environment, to be put in the game. We all have to have the same taste of music so we can all agree on the song. That is my suggestion on song choices.

I like this. I have fond memories of Paper Mario: TYD, and I would love to see a MLP: FiM game like PM. Now. Music. Well, I'm currently learning to make music, program (C#), and Animate. For the music, you can probably look up some of the music types on YouTube.

 

I have a few songs that you can look up. (Yes, allot of these wouldn't fit in the game. Inspiration, my dear Watson.(List in spoiler))

 

 

-C418 - Sweden (Caution & Crisis Remix) Battle Sequence

Its a remix of the classic song 'Sweden' from Minecraft. I imagine it would fit in more of a 'emotional' or "ok everypony if we don't finish this were all going to rot on the moon" or some type of final stand.

 

-Syst3m Sh0ck (Sirdangolot5)

This is more of a techno and fast - paced song, not sure if you would think it would fit into the game.

 

-Winter Wrap Up (8-bit)

Yeah, yeah I know. Of corse you would want to put a MLP song. I just think this type of simplicity would fit into, say, a snowy town?

-Into Dust (Mazzy Star)

Its more of a emotional song than anything else. You might recognize this from the Gears of War 3 trailer.
