Will Starlight Glimmer have an important role in season 8?

1.So first of all Starlight helped Torax in season 6 last episode(part 1 and 2).

2.She is/has Twilight's student.

3.Was a villian in season 5.

4.Had an important role in season 7 last episode(part 1 and 2).

5.Appears in Movie Magic

So I think Starlight won't have an important role in season 8 but she will appear on it in some episodes

I suppose that depends on what you mean by an important role.

We already know from the season 8 animatic shown off months ago, that both she and Chrysalis will be in the premier, so it’s likely she’ll have a major role there.

Other than that, I think her role will be the same it was in season seven.

im very sure she'll be full on mane 7th in season 8. it shows in the season 8 animatic she's teaching the the school of friendship with the other 6. pinkie pie even stops Chrysalis and has her take her picture defending her as the one of the mane group.

A high chance she will. Why?

1) This show is basically My Little Pony: Starlight Glimmer is magic. 

2) The mane 6 have achieved a lot in season 6 such as Rainbow Dash becoming a Wonderbolt 

3) Starlight has more development ahead for her.

4) The leaks contained her.

5) The show is basically dependent on her for more storyline.

6) Thorax and Trixie have a closer relationship with Starlight Glimmer than any of the other mane. 6.

Based on what I have read, she is still there and an important character, but she will have less "starlight episodes" to make room

For what I know that I can't tell, I don't think #1 or #6 will explicitly come true. But other than that, I don't care or mind at all on what anyone will get.

I'm expecting a map episode maybe. I suspect her role will be similar to what it was in Season 7. I'm hoping she interacts more with the other characters beyond Twilight and her circle of friends.

Yes I know Starlight might betray the Mane Six, but IF she does, then I will be happy for sure! And yes, she is the victim by pretending to be reformed. Simple.
