I made a terrible choice with my school; I basically wasted 4 years of education. Thankfully, I at least picked one with general things + profession, so even if that profession absolutely isn't what I would like to do in my life, I at least have that high school thingie done too with that mature exam or whatever it is called in English. 

So considering, that typical high school without profession lasts 3 years, i wasted that one year in the end; though I still could have made a wiser choice.

Ah I also wasted another year in the same way as you; I finished school and... Stayed one year at home before I got a job. 

No regrets though, at that time I discovered MLP, which encouraged me to try my hoof at game developing, which made me realize how enjoyable programming is. During that year I had tons of time to learn things on my own. Without that year at home, I don't think I'd be where I am now. I'd probably end up playing games all day. 

If I only knew that before; I'd pick some kind of IT school... But back then I was too young and stupid to know what exaltly I want to do in my life. 

Heh, believe or not, but there are people who still have troubles with math basics.  I know, because I was doing tests and homeworks not only for myself.  Some people seem to have troubles with following some logic and they easily get confused.

That's why different schools have different methods. 

I'm not going to miss all these whispers during exams...

It's not like we have much of a choice in that matter, corporations in America today hold all the power, and as long as people still want decent-paying jobs, they're gonna jump through the hoops to get them.

I never went to college beyond taking my EMT certification (the courses were sponsored by the local community college), and I was lucky enough to go to a high school that offered vocational training alongside the academic curriculum (I took culinary arts, and worked in a few restaurants after graduating, long enough to learn I had no business being in a professional kitchen).  I consider myself fortunate to have the job I do, that pays fairly decent, even if the hours kinda suck.  A lot of people are in the same boat as I am, and I can only see it getting worse as time passes.

I think I'm pretty okay with math. I just never enjoyed doing it ya know. I understand mostly what goes on in what I do but all the freaking acronyms is a bit annoying sometimes.

The thing with maths is, that the better you are, the more you enjoy these. With that being said, people who dislike maths usually just have troubles with these and that is being the reason.

Personally I enjoyed maths even though I wasn't that pro. It all is kinda like a puzzle game-- or more like crosswords. 

I do admit that some things may be annoying; there were things I didn't like, especially geometry. 

One big question was partially solved for me - I was always wondering why do I need all of that fancy maths that nobody really uses in life- some things actually play their role in programming, so knowing these may come in handy. What a discovery.

I actually owned that game a while back, but I ended up getting rid of it. I'm probably going to get the Legendary Edition at some point.

Oh, and don't count on me fighting you; I suck too much for that (not to mention, I've probably gotten rusty).

I’m not big on fighting games but I heard Injustice is fun to play. 

I sometimes watch them when I can’t figure something out or if I don’t want to go through the trouble of playing it myself. 

I’m trying to get past this one section of Doom but it keeps kicking my butt. Three Hell Knights and a bunch of other guys st the same time is unfair.

Yeah, it's pretty good. Just be sure to get the Legendary Edition if you ever pick it up; it has all of the DLC content.
