general Problems With Discovery Family

1.For some reason, they think people like weird baking shows. 

2. Their primetime is only a recycling bin for stupid discovery shows that 58% of people have already watched. 5:00 pm to the morning,100% recycled shows. 

3. Annoying Commercial Breakes every 6 minutes! 

4. Their movie nights suck, with only 2 of the movies they air I actually like. And they barely air.

5. Hardly any ponies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Discovery Family needs to either focus on animation, said baking shows, or something else. In my opinion, the lack of a clear focus is why Discovery Family doesn't get the attention that Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Disney Channel (especially Disney XD) do. It's like they don't really know whether they are Food Network, Animal Planet, or a Disney Channel. Hence why people seem to watch the cartoons, but not much else. The channel is only afloat right now because of Hasbro.

I do like their movies, though. But I hardly ever get a chance to watch them because I get the channel back at home, but not on my college campus where I spend the majority of the year.

It's a good thing DHX's contract with them ends within the next few years. Hopefully, they'll put gen 5 on a new channel.

I rarely watch the channel now that MLP is available on several online TV show platforms, but I'm not aware of any problems with Discovery Family.
