Putting that much work into something and not getting money out of it because it's someone else's IP seems like a downer imo. But so long as you don't make money off of it you should be fine. Olly 1,015 May 12, 2018 Share May 12, 2018 (edited) hasbro doesn't own the idea of anthropomorphic ponies, but it's certainly associated with their brand. Your idea is clearly heavily influenced by Fim, most have noticed that. Also, I'm curious about who your target audience is... you have ponies being impregnated by dragons and making hybrid horse dragons and all this epic fantasy serious stuff. It sounds like trying to merge My Little Pony with The Lord of the Rings. My advice would be to change the character names, simply and streamline your story, and replace horses altogether with human or other animal characters. Olly 1,015 May 15, 2018 Share May 15, 2018 The style of those drawings is still too mlp-ish... while your premise is definitely your own I think it would benefit you to place less emphasis on horses/ponies as your main characters/species.
