Lady Rarity Pony 4,894 December 16, 2011 Author Share December 16, 2011 (edited) They could have an episode about firearm safety! Apple bloom steals apple jacks shotgun and uses it as a toy, but it accidentally discharges, wounding a near by animal, she then has to fess up to her sister A little much for a kids show don't you think? xD As much as I hate to say it, I could picture Rainbow Dash making a great tank driver. She has a pet turtle after all. If you haven't seen them yet check out the Starcraft 2 pony portraits. Gives a nice example of the ponies on the battlefield. I can imagine her with goggles on commanding a tank Edited December 16, 2011 by Lady Rarity Pony LRP's opinions are subject to change without notice. Fees and penalties still apply. sweetolebob18 728 December 24, 2015 Share December 24, 2015 Many moons ago, I watched Connections on PBS. Some of the technology used to build internal combustion engines was also used to make steam engines. It was first used to make cannons. Plus, they have fireworks so they have explosives. Thus, they could make guns but do not appear to. (IMO, party cannons are air guns. Like a BB gun only larger) However, just because they can do it, doesn't mean they do. The reasons could vary from Magic is more effective, so the technology was never developed. or, They have been suppressed by law (& international treaty). IIRC, medieval Japan did just that. The USA is pretty is pretty unusual in allowing widespread gun ownership. Most industrialized nations are pretty restrictive about private citizens owning guns, especially handguns. ASGARDIANBRONY 128 December 24, 2015 Share December 24, 2015 there are guns in equestrian though they are hardly ever used, seeing as there aren't really wars and wizards take care of all the monsters. A wizard is never late, nor is he early. he arrives precisely when he means to. quote from starswirl the bearded
simba86 1,541 December 24, 2015 Share December 24, 2015 (edited) same reason as when rainbow dash asks the others for a "hand" in that one episode Edited December 24, 2015 by simba86 It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees! cider float 2,539 December 27, 2015 Share December 27, 2015 Unfortunately, that meaning of the word "tank" comes from it's use as the name for armoured fighting vehicles. The meaning has fallen far away from one another though. Tanks in RPGs are always a melee type. The vehicle weapon is typically a long ranged weapon. PinkieAwesome 66 January 14, 2016 Share January 14, 2016 Because its easier to say "like a tank" or "fast as a bullet" than coming up with something kids are not familiar with The only arms ive seen is a party cannon and stuff like that
