How will the Crystal Ponies react?

We've know that the Crystal ponies adore Spike the brave and glorious, but how will they react now that he has wings? I don't necessarily think that they'll change their opinions of him, much, if at all, since they admire him for his actions and not his appearance.

I wonder how much taxpayer money would be spent changing the giant statue of him in the middle of town, just to add wings to it?

I don't think that their opinions would change, at least not negatively. Perhaps they look up to him more now that he has wings, since he would be able to protect them on a whole new level. It would be interesting, though, if they were afraid of him for one reason or another now that he has wings...

I honestly can't see him being bothered or affected by his newfound wings. It doesn't affect his personality or what he's done, so I wouldn't worry about the crystal ponies thinking of him any different. If anything, they'll rejoice that their beloved "Spike The Brave and Glorious" has received his token of growth, just as a pony would earn their cutie mark.
