Are all the Mane 6 really fit for their Element?

Now while I hate asking about this, even if it is opinions I do still need to ask this.

Do you think that the Mane 6 are really the best for their element? or at least some of them.

Pinkie Pie Rarity, Twilight, and Fluttershy do great jobs for their element.

But Rainbow Dash while she has been loyal in quite a few cases she doesn't really seem to always be about Loyalty, I think of Loyalty as the trait of being honest and resilient, and Determined about something you believe in or agree with. And again, while she does show Loyalty, she isn't any more loyal than the other Mane 6 she is almost less Loyal. If she was really the true embodiment of loyalty she wouldn't lie and think of herself so much.

(Let me just say I really don't think that the mane 6 are the embodiments of the EoH I think it focuses more on their Personality and intentions)

So, AJ... She is quite honest you could say, but she also lies more than the others (maybe not Rainbow Dash) There have been times where she lies about moving to a completely different town.

But I guess completely dodging a question is not really lying.

Anyway, do you think I am right? what are your thoughts?

I don't know, i think it's more like... "they the chosen ones," than... "she's the most loyal," or "she's the most honest,"... or whatever. Let's be honest... wouldn't Pinkie technically be the Princess of Friendship if we were to go on the most friendly?

Making friends with everyone because you are friendly and good at making friends is a different thing compared to the actual magic of friendship.

Since Thorax loves everyone he could replace Cadance by that logic

But that is not what loyalty means 

Loyalty means to be loyal which is

• b : faithful to a private person to whom faithfulness is due 

• a loyal husband

That means she is always faithful to her friends which she is. She might be conflicted at times because nopony is perfect but when it comes down to it she is loyal always.

This is one time and Ill even give another example but in each time. she did not lie. She just did not tell the truth. One does not have to tell the truth to be honest as you can choose not to answer and let people draw their own conclusion. She just did not answer the question. She let Ponies think what they wanted about her reasons. Same thing with the tonic and Granny Smith she told the truth that it was working for Granny Smith because it was. The minute she felt deceitful over it she stood up and fessed up.

I do not think you are correct. Here is why

 

For Rainbowdash she has been tested twice with the offer of her greatest dream to abandon her friends and has refused to do it both times. I do not see anypony else facing that and coming out the same ways she did. ( The Shadow Bolts and the WonderBolts ) 

She won't even compromise her values or code for her greatest dream. She refused to stay part of the WonderBolts academy if they rewarded putting others at risk. She wanted to be lead point and was conflicted about being a wing pony. But the minute she saw they rewarding those that put others at risk IE being disloyal to her values and her friends she was ready to walk. Whereas ponies like Rarity compromised her Rules of Rarity to attain her dream for a bit. 

Applejack when tested always opened up and will never outright lie like other ponies. Like Pinky saying she is fine with CheesedSandwhich when she is not. AppleJack will either not answer or she will tell the truth. 

That is why they own their elements. Each of them refuses to break that trait when the pressure is on and everything might make them wish to and if they do violate them or even feel like they violate them it eats them up until they break and fix it.

That's the best answer I've read.

Also, @Unity. Just because the Mane 6 don't always live up to their Elements of virtue doesn't make terrible ponies. If anything, it makes them more than just fictional characters. It makes them relatable and some one to watch live their lives through good times and bad. 

In Fluttershy's case. S2's Putting Your Hoof Down is a good example. When she took the assertive lessons too far to the point of becoming a bully, she step back and learned to use the right amount of assertiveness. Not too aggressive that she antagonizes everyone, but not with too little assertion that she becomes a push-over.

There's always going to be peaks and valleys in a person's life, (real or fictional) behavior, and personality.

He could... but he's not master race pony so I don't think it applies to him.
