He smiled at Jenna's comment. "I wish I did, but I'm glad I'm helping you somehow."

"I do, by bringing those dangerous people after people who would live their lives peacefully without knowing anything about the whole thing." Jenna pointed out.

"But they can't just go around slaughtering people." Oliver pointed out. "Not unless they wanted to get in serious trouble. I'm sure there are those who can stop them."

He nodded and started the game for them.

"They can and they do." Jenna argued as they played "They just have the resources to clean it up and hide it, that's why I said earlier that best place to hide is in middle of a crowd, they won't do anything there because there's too many eyewitnesses." "Still, doing it in a public place where people can see them?" Oliver pointed out, playing as well. "It just seems to risky even for them."

He nodded. "Yeah, but knowing they exist or not doesn't mean they can't just go around slaughtering the public without someone reacting."

"It seems that I need to remind you who they are, there is more ways of killing someone than bullet and a knife." Jenna pointed out "Not only that, they're everywhere, your mailman could be one of them, the head of the police force of this city could be one." "Like I said, they won't do anything in plain sight of crowd of people, but that doesn't stop them from doing it in public." "They literally burned down a warehouse in middle of the city because I was there, even if by accident."

"But if they know you know they exist, they come to your house to deal with you, while if you don't know they exist, you don't exist for them." she sighed as she kept her eyes on the game "I know you're trying to comfort me, but reality is grim, and it won't get better with nice words."

"I'm just saying," Oliver said, carrying on playing, "there's always a good possibility for them to slip up and people to find out about them."

He frowned at her. "I just want to be more help for you."

"Unlikely." Jenna argued "They are good cleaning up their tracks." "And only sending a one Vipera is part of that, they are loyal, so if the fail and get caught, nobody will know about Talon, only about a one criminal."

"I know" she sighed "And you already are..." "...but like I have said earlier, downplaying the threat doesn't help, I know my enemy...well, after all, I used to be one of them."

Oliver shrugged. "Well, either way, you never know what might happen."

He nodded. "Yeah, but you're not now," he pointed out. "You're a different person now. A better person. You can do better things with yourself."

Jenna gave a joyless chuckle "You're really determined in trying to comfort me." "Why is that?" "I know you are helping because you consider it as the right thing to do, but how does comforting relate to that?"

Oliver shrugged, his face warming a bit. He wasn't really sure how to respond to that.

"I don't really know," he admitted. "I mean, I do like you and I already consider you a friend, so I just wanna see you happy."

"huh." Jenna replied curiously "That's...unexpected." she not really understanding the whole human emotions thing, she asked the next question fully unaware of how uncomfortable question it could be "Do you mean liking as in...how do you humans call it....a crush?"

Oliver's face flushed redder and he tried to hide it. "O-oh, uh... I-I guess...?"

He really wasn't sure how to answer that. How would she react if he said he was starting to develop a crush on her?

"I mean, you're nice, and really pretty..."

"Huh." Jenna simply replied again, "That's...heartwarming." she sounded surprised and slightly curious "Though that would explain your behavior." she only now looked at him to see his reaction  and chuckled "Oh...I had forgotten how you humans react to these things, sorry about that."

"O-oh no it's fine," Oliver muttered, turning his head to try and hide his face. He didn't think she needed to see that. "Y'know, it's just human emotions and stuff. I dunno how you feel since you're a dragon and you probably have different feelings."

"To be honest, I don't know either." Jenna admitted "We were taught that dragons don't have feelings, but I have proven that wrong pretty much." "Though I have yet to experience attraction stronger than friendship, but that doesn't necessary mean that I can't feel otherwise."

"Well, like I said, this is your chance to explore them," Oliver pointed out, smiling at Jenna. "No one to tell you how to feel and how not to feel, so you can find out what other feelings are like, right?"

"Well, it's not exactly as simple as just deciding that now I feel things." Jenna pointed out "If I'm able to feel things, those emotions have been killed rather effectively, so it's not question of will."

"You can't just kill emotions," Oliver pointed out. "They're always there, you just need the right situation to let them out. Like maybe you felt happy when I let you hide out here? Or angry about these people after you?"

"It's not literal." "And I don't mean all emotions." Jenna pointed out "Like greed, anger is something that comes from our nature, and that I can confirm that, and I know what happiness is, since like I told you, I used to have friends." "The emotions I talk about are things like love, all the 'soft' emotions" "Even the whole feeling bad for others is rather new feeling to me."

"That's called empathy," Oliver explained. "It means you feel bad for others in need and have a want to help them. Like I did when you showed up."

He shrugged. "I'm sure you're definitely capable of feeling love and stuff, you just need the right situation to call it out."

"I know the concepts of all the emotions." Jenna informed, "After all, I have been trained to infiltrate humans, and you can't act like believable human if you can't act out emotions." "That and they also are important tools of manipulation."

she shrugged "It shall be seen."

"Knowing what emotions are and acting them out isn't the same as feeling them," Oliver pointed out. "Then again, fake it till you make it, I suppose."

He shrugged. "I still think you're capable of feeling them."

"I know that too." Jenna corrected "What I mean is that I know what feelings are by definition." "I just added the part about me knowing how to act them as reasoning for why I know them." "i know what i feel is empathy, and I know how people in love act, and what it means to love." she kept a short pause "Only thing I din't know, is what those I haven't experienced yet feel like."

"Like I said, it shall be seen, it's not an disagreement."

His smile turned into a grin. "Besides, learning human emotions perfectly will mean you can blend in better, right?"
