If Gallus and Silverstream had a kid, what would it be?

This ship's been getting popular as of late, so it got me thinking: Both of them are birds, one's got lion parts, and the other has pony parts. If they became more than friends, tied the knot and had a kid, would it be a griffin? A hippogriff, or some weird hybrid between the two?

Well, she DOES have part of the perl that can do transformations; presumably she could transform him, her, or both into whatever they wanted the kid to be?

Personally I actually think Gallus and Sandbar would be a more interesting couple.

 

Heck the shipping started from the moment they bumped into each other. 

They do say opposites attract.

Got a much better conundrum. If Rarity and Spike had a kid, what would it be?

I think their kid would look perfectly normal, seeing as out of all the interspecial shippings, they're the two characters who look the most alike. Seriously, I have seen fanart of Fluttershy and Discord having a kid that looked totally fine.

Traditionally a Hippogriff is actually the offspring of a Griffin and a Mare so by that you'd get something that's 75% griffon.

Mules exist in MLP though and they're sterile, and I don't think anyone really thought about the history of Hippogriffs before putting them into the show so chances are their being different species means they can't breed.

That resulted in Dragon ponies which there's a ton of art for. Discord has chaos on his side and therefore is able to be an exception to every rule. But as I said, there being different species means they can't breed.

There are those Qilan now right? They're like half dragon or something? Sorry I'm not caught up on season 8.

I think it would be a hybrid species, a mix of hypogriff and gryphon.
