open [OOC] Fallout: Equestria - Balefire Blues

Okay, this is the OOC for Fallout: Equestria - Balefire Blues

This particular RP idea came from my reading of the original FO:E; it fascinates me when I come across a retooling of a universe I know, and there were so many in-jokes and flat-out references that I was thoroughly entertained by it... as many of us were, I'm certain.

THIS RP is going to be taking place in the same universe... but roughly two years prior to the events of FO:E.  It will also focus on three NPCs, only one of which will be active in the beginning; the rest come later as the story progresses.  But it's mostly meant to act as a sort-of fanfic, if you will - my own little corner of the Fallout universe, so to speak.  I've always been the kind who loves to imagine what my own OCs would have done in such a grand story arc... and now, I have that chance.

Now, I don't plan on there being any actual meet-up with any of the FO:E mane characters, though there will be mentions from time to time of things that fall in line with that story - such as DJ Pon3's broadcasts - but this is supposed to be a separate story from that one, not a prequel or continuation.  I would request that anyone who joins should be here for THIS story, not that one - please don't go trekking off to find LittlePip's vault, because you won't.

Make sure your OC fits within the Fallout universe.  This means you can have as much Sparkle Cola memorabilia as you like, or know the workings of a Power Armor, or even possibly have some experiences as a raider... it's all to be discussed beforehoof, of course, but the Wasteland sky's the limit!

Any connections to anything Fallout-wise should be discussed with me before play - because I have to fit it into my own little world here, so I need things to flow smoothly FOR ME (the other characters, however, can have as hard a time as you'd like).

NO alicorns or draconequui; otherwise, I'm game for different races.  Seriously, ever wanted to play as a griffon?  Maybe one of the Kirin?  Perhaps you'd even be interested in playing, oh, a Deathclaw?  Give me an idea - I'll work with you.

Gender / sexuality / alignment is ALL up for grabs.  I do plan on there being an 'adult' atmosphere with this RP (sex, yes; gratuitous detail, no), and I don't shy away from the concept of romance when it comes to characters.  Enjoy at your own risk.  *chuckle*

I will take a maximum of THREE roleplayers - at least, for now; that may change, depending on how well this goes, and how cooperative the players are.  I certainly hope this will be considered, and I look forward to spinning a tale that is at least worthy of the source material.

Hmmmmmm... this is certainly doable.  May I make a few requests?

1: Can you outline a Perk for each level after the first?  (As long as they stay level-appropriate, have fun!)
2: Where would you prefer starting at: small settlement, abandoned town, recently-opened vault or 'other'?
3: Would you prefer she start with a companion, or alone?

I played in another FO:E-type RP, and when things happened that fell on those perks, it was a nifty way to add in some Fallout to the RP directly.

Example:

Longtooth groped around in the dark for a moment, looking to find his spectacles before the Radiers found him.  His hoof finally discovered them, and he shoved them onto his face quickly.  As soon as he had them in place and his eyes focused, he could tell the Raiders were holding dynamite... which meant, if he aimed carefully, this encounter would be over MUCH quicker than he first anticipated.

I just thought it would be a nifty extra, and it doesn't have to be used every time.  If you don't want to, that's okay - it's more of an extra, not a necessity.

not hers the coat was her mothers and the armor is from Silvia.

the bag has a animal inside that blossom caught to replace a slave that was originally inside. but as i said i dont know if that will work.

First off, Tacotue isn't exactly a slaver community - if that's what you wanted, you might've wanted to say such earlier.  However, if you like, I have an alternate idea for this?

Perhaps the creature in the sack was responsible for some of the local townsfolk getting killed/eaten, and she was hired by some outside source to capture it & return the culprit to Tacotue; who the source actually was, we can work on later, but for now I guess we could say she captured a monster, and is now turning it over to the townsfolk here.

Does that work, or do you have a different idea?  Or am I not understanding your original idea, here?

So I haven't logged into this in AGES but I have been looking around the internets for MLP themed pnp sessions. This was a bonus that there was a FREAKIN FALLOUT EQUESTRIA!

I do see however that this thread is a couple months old. Is this still a thing going on?

I have been in a couple of Fo:E games before and have a few characters I could use and would be all for making a new one.
