web Ever made your own 'SCPs'?

While SCP is most notable for the games that Youtubers spammed into oblivion, I find that the overall concept of SCP is brilliant. This collection of 'specimens' is a massive catalog of interesting ideas, some very humorous, other downright horrifying. To me, it is like Creepypasta but far more consistently scary or interesting and the fact that it is all under the umbrella of the SCP Foundation, it makes for a very interesting and ever expanding lore.

Point of this thread specifically is this: Have any of you ever came up with your own SCPs? If you have come up with ideas before, why not share them here? They can be anything really, it is all fun. Me personally, I like thinking of ones that scare me, I am sorta obsessed with stuff that can actually freak me out.

Here is one I have thought of and added onto over the years, just came up with a random number as it isn't in any database:

SCP-4016 'The Eyes That Watch'

"These eyes do A LOT MORE than watch."

Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: There is currently no known way to physically contain SCP-4016. All personnel must have a personal light on them at all times in the case of an encounter with SCP-4016. In the case of an encounter, one must immediately shine this light directly at 4016. This will cause it to retreat. Under no circumstances should any site personnel wander the facilities without a working light and must report for an exchange if theirs is faulty. After 4016 retreats you must keep your light on until you have restored full lighting in the room to prevent 4016 from returning. Failure to do so will always result in [EXPUNGED]. Though it often appears docile, 4016 has been shown to be extremely hostile under the right conditions.

Description: SCP-4016 is a creature of unknown genus and currently has no fully known physical appearance or properties. While it is believed to stand on four legs and have claws and teeth of unknown length, the only visible property of 4016 is its pair of eyes. These eyes are easily visible from a distance, as they glow in darkness, even if no light source is around it. These eyes have been monitored extensively and are subject of debate for their function, as they never blink or stray from the direction they are currently looking until they vanish. No other physical property of 4016 was believed to exist until the incident at site [EXPUNGED]. Subject was encountered by a staff member just behind a doorway where there was no light visible and only its eyes were visible. Upon being fully noticed by 4016, the staff member was immediately pulled in and [EXPUNGED] and once light was restored to the room, only extreme amounts of blood and gore remained. This has led many to believe 4016 has some form of claws and teeth in which it tears at prey with. Beyond this there is currently no other evidence of the physical appearance of 4016. It is also unclear how 4016 completely disabled all light sources in that room and this is still undergoing investigation. One theory points at 4016 can also absorb light around it, but this needs testing. There have been no reports of 4016 appearing outside during daylight hours.

Subject is known to vanish if any light source above ____ is shined upon it. Its method of movement is currently unknown. It will retreat very rapidly and can reappear anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours, sometimes in the exact position it was in before. It is also unknown if 4016 is a single creature or multiple, as eyes have been reported in certain areas around the facilities and then in other points of the facilities mere seconds later. So far there have been no reports of more than one pair of eyes appearing at the same time. When 4016 shows no hostile activity, it is believed to possibly be observing individuals. 4016 has shown to be able to infiltrate rooms in the facilities via unknown means and has immense patience, as one report states that one specimen was possibly in a room for __ hours.

That is my idea so far. I will add more to it over time. This concept legit freaks me out, as unknown things in the dark is one of my biggest fears.

Reading through the SCP Archive is a great way to pass several hours before you realize it. I don't think I'm quite skilled enough to make a properly believable SCP, but I'd like to give it a shot sometime. Preferably doing something with mirrors since one of the mirror portal SCPs has been my absolute favorite so far.
