ManaMinori 4,145 February 25, 2019 Share February 25, 2019 Needless to say, Hasbro really failed with the diversity thing for the toyline. And because f the constant Mane 6 pushing, there are a TON of ponies and creatures that we'll never get to see as a toy (brushable/ collectable, ect. in FM. How do you guys feel about this? 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
cuteycindyhoney 13,306 February 25, 2019 Share February 25, 2019 I don't really have a problem with it. They know which ones see and stick with that. Thank you Sparklefan1234!!!
Ganondorf8 11,297 February 25, 2019 Share February 25, 2019 From a marketing perspective, the Mane Six and secondary characters for the most part are seen as guaranteed sales.

Indeed, prior generations had animated adaptations which mostly featured different characters. G1 had only the Williams as recurring characters, and G3 split protagonism between different ponies, not to mention they were more self-contained.
